@Gramdogg, if you are looking for FA Forrest Fruit ideas, I have been enjoying @Capt.shay's Berry Berry Good recipe:
Berry Berry Good

6% VBIC(TFA)
2% Marshmellow(TFA)
4% Forest Fruit(FA)
1% Raspberry Sweet(TFA)
0.5% Strawberry Ripe(TFA)
(one half percent)
(quote edited {formatting} by IDJoel for recipe clarity)
It is a good recipe in its own right, and also is great to tweak, and riff on. The VBIC is easily interchangeable with all sorts of creams and custards; while the Raspberry, and Strawberry can be subbed out for a multitude of other berries, and/or other fruits. I am kinda digging on using Dragon Fruit in lieu of the Raspberry; it softens the sharper edges of the Forrest Fruit, and does not bring the raspberry part of the FF front and center. Subbing Blue, Black, Bil, Boysen, Rasp, and other Straw, berries will take the core Forrest Fruit in all sorts of different pleasing directions.

I have had one version, of this recipe, or another, in my vape box since Capt. shared it almost a year ago! Thanks @Capt.shay!

My Pleasure :) I kind of developed this one on line here in, I think it was, the TFA thread so I'm glad people are enjoying it. It has been my all day vape for quite some time. And, it is very versitile. I played around for a long time with different flavors and percentages to arrive at what you listed above giving it (to me) the best balance. And this reminds me, I haven't visited Dragon Fruit in a long time, I can see it working as a sub for the Ras.

I just mixed this one up and really looking forward to testing it. Is it good as a shack and vape or should I give it some time? And next time I will have to try it with dragon fruit.

I used Shisha Strawberry and Raspberry in my mix.

I find (for me) it vapeable after 3 days, but it takes about a week and a half, to two weeks for the cream (VBIC, or ?) to start to make its presence known.:)

And I need to slow down when I type, glad you caught my meaning cuz I'm not keeping my liquids in a shack when I vape ;)
:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

It's all good; I am just glad no one points out ALL my typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors! If everybody else can put up with that; I can certainly overlook the occasional vaping "shack.":D:lol::lol::D

I did sub the strawberry and raspberry with Shisha, TFA just hasn't been doing it for me lately.
I hear ya; I just can't get past the "incense" funk I get from Shisha Strawberry. I don't struggle with it near as much with the Shisha Vanilla (and have found it rather useful); but the Strawberry quest continues.

Though, now that I think about it, (while vaping Berry Berry Good original; your post compelled me to fill a tank too;)), I can see where the boldness + hint of bite from the Forrest Fruit might be enough to stand up to the Shisha Strawberry. You say you subbed it for both the TFA Rasp. Sweet AND TFA Strawberry(?); did you do so at 1.5%, or something else?

Well I couldn't hold out, I dipped into the Berry Good today, started dripping and quickly moved to a tank. Vaped for a little bit and mixed up 100mls.

It is Berry Good just like the name says!

Berry Berry good indeed! I actually like it fresh myself. I'm not sure I like it better than aged up a week or so but I think fresh is just as good as the aged. It is definitely a different, brighter flavor when it is fresh and then deeper and more complex as it ages. I never mix up to big a batch so I get to taste it fresh often.

Because Forrest Fruit is a berry "blend;" the addition of the secondary berries, like strawberry, raspberry, blueberry, blackberry, boysenberry, or what ever berry currently floats your boat; aids in bringing "that" berry front and center. Don't want more strawberry? Don't use it. All the secondaries are doing is shifting the initial berry balance. If you want to highlight a different berry; add that instead.

Though, the way @Capt.shay seems to be using the raspberry in this instance, seems to be to add a touch of sweetness, and round off the sharp edges a bit; verses bringing out a noticeable "raspberry" presence. But that is just my own impression; Capt., and others, may have different perceptions.

As I mentioned in a previous post, that is part of what I like about this recipe, its versatility is nearly endless. Boost (or even change) the cream, alter the berries, add a bit of sweetener when your sweet-tooth strikes. They all can offer significant, or subtle changes, limited only your imagination, and what you currently are in the mood for. I have tried miscellaneous variations of all the above; and I haven't had a failure in the lot.:D

Couldn't agree more. We all taste things differently, I taste strawberry and a hint of cherry or something but someone else may taste raspberry etc. 0.5% could just be to bring back some of the strawberry lost in adding raspberry, could just be to add the "ripe" notes. Lots of different reasons to add any number of things. It's a great baseline though, also where I use 5% at 4% I would probably want the 0.5% strawberry... maybe I'll try that since I don't have much. Make it last longer and will never know till I try it.

I haven't found a Cherry concentrate that doesn't taste like Vicks 44D yet.
Which cherries have you used? I understand many of them to be extremely potent, and might even be good candidates for pre-diluting to a 10% dilution (and then using that dilution as the concentrate), but have only found FA-Black Cherry to have that "Robitussin" potential... especially when used at too high of a percentage.

The lightest "cherry" I have found to work with is TFA-Cherry Blossom. It is not a strong floral as the name might suggest, but it will offer a gentle hint of cherry to most mixes, without trying to steal the show. (Note: though I find this a more "submissive" cherry; I still tend to only use 1-2%.) I find it best for when I want the cherry to be a secondary, or supporting note. It is going to need the help of a second cherry concentrate if you are looking for a more dominant/primary cherry note (TFA-Black Cherry, at 2% or less, has done a serviceable job for me in this capacity).

And, before I go sounding like some sort of cherry "expert," please keep in mind; my experience is limited to:
FA-Black Cherry
TFA-Black Cherry
TFA-Cherry Blossom
TFA-Cherry Extract
TFA-Marachino Cherry
So, my experience is FAR from exhaustive, and anecdotal at best.;):D
