If you have no price ceiling, I would actually suggest getting one of the subscription based services. Drip Club, Zamplebox, etc. You pay something like $24-30 a month for a shipment of random juices tailored to your taste with approximately 100ml of juice. If you don't want to try this, another option would be going to the different vendor sites and ordering a sample pack of their juices. As for tanks, I prefer the pyrex glass bottom coil tanks such as the protanks, nautilus, aerotank, etc. You said that you were interested in carto tanks so I would actually suggest that you give the Aspire Nautilus mini a try. It uses a new coil technology for tanks that is similar to cartos. It has a bottom vertical coil. Good luck with your hunt.

I actually just ordered a sample pack from heather's heavenly vapes. I'm looking forward to testing out some new flavors. And thats actually pretty cool, it would be awesome to get sample packs tailored to my liking. Thanks for info friend!

Moving from eGos, a great battery choice is Innokin. Even if it's the iTaste VV V3 or the MVP, get a starter kit with the iClear 16 or 30. It's a begginers tank, easy to fill and vape.

Unfortunately there's no easy way around to clearos. Some people LOVE aerotanks, some people don't. You have to find your taste yourself and try as many as you can. For instance I'm a Vapeonly fan, and don't want anything else although I try new things every now and again.

And with liquids, fashions come and go. Shame they didn't do the eliquid hall of fame 2013. The 2012 helped me narrow the choices for the liquids I love. Also try Liqua through Fasttech, they're cheap as can be, come in lots of flavors and are quite tasty. If you find the liquid is too sharp or makes you cough, put a little VG in the mix to lower it. To know how much use this, and put in the flavoring box 0

oh wow i didnt know that by just adding vg it make the hit a bit smoother, thats awesome! thanks so much for the tips!

I would skip the other tanks and order a carto tank from ibtanked or phiniac. I spent my first two months using aspire bdc tanks. Came across an ibtanked review from Baditude, ordered one, and haven't looked back. Two friends of mine recently started vaping and I told them to go with the carto tanks. They did and they have tried other peoples bdc tanks and thank me for steering them to the carto tanks.

One thing I do want to add...I have yet to try the new aspire nautilus tanks with the new bvc coils so I can't comment on those.

As has been said by others; juice and hardware are extremely subjective. I have only one rule for hardware. Everything must be rebuildable.

I have a bunch of Kanger mini pro tanks and a pro tank3. The only way I have gotten these to perform well is by rebuilding them from scratch. I use 30 AWG Kanthal, wrapped 5 times around a 5/64" drill bit and wicked with organic boiled cotton. That delivers about 1.5 ohm. Even the organic cotton is treated with Hydrogen Peroxide, so you want to boil it before use. I boiled mine three times in filtered water and "wrung" it out in a potato ricer after each boil.

I have been using a Kamry mechanical mod with decent results, but have had a hard time finding good batteries. I think I finally found a good source in fasttech_com, but they ship on a slow boat from China (2-3 week delivery). I am moving more towards dripping / tank atomizers as they are much easier to dry burn / rewick for new juices and tend to deliver huge vapes on sub ohm coil builds. Fasttech_com has some really good deals on clone atomizers about $5 each. Too good to pass up and hard to justify spending more money on a clearomizer that is difficult to service.

As far as juices go, I have found that I am pretty sensitive to some of the sweeteners used by juice makers. I have tried only a few juice vendors, but have really come to like betamorph. Partly because they are somewhat local to me and they are cool folks (they run a record label as well), but mostly because their juices are really REALLY good. I am excited to try virgin vapor, who make a line of organic juice.

Happy Vaping!!!

I recommend the Mini Nautilus. I also have the kanger mini pro tank 3 which is OK the nautilus is a superior tank IMO. As far juices go I am also new to Vaping. If you like menthol(tastes like candy cane IMO) I recommend Kringlers Curse from Halo. Tribeca is nice also but for me was an acquired taste. Right now I am vaping Suckers Punch by Suicide Bunny and I can't stop vaping it. Haha I got a couple of new flavor I haven't even tried out sitting in my closet. This one one is gonna be one my favorite ones for sure.

I agree! I'm not particularly fond of hidden wick coils. I was reading in another forum that you can replace the wicks with cotton for a better hit as well.

The problem is that I don't know how to take these coils apart. Any help??
