Honestly I had a lot of issues with my protank 2. Not so much with the mini version. Biggest issues with the PT2 was dry hits, so I'd remove a flavor wick then it would gurgle. The mini PT2s only occasionally had gurgling, never really had dry hits but the flavor always seemed off. Now I don't really think the tanks themselves were the issue. I think my problem was the Kanger heads but I could be wrong. That's why I started looking for tanks that used a different head. I tried the Aspire heads and never looked back. I still have my Kanger tanks but they are empty now.

The way I look at it, even buying the Davides for each juice I vape is still way less than the boatload of cash I was spending on smokes. I see no reason to keep using tanks I feel don't perform when I can buy five tanks that work great for me for less than a carton of cigs.

I'm kind of stuck on the original Protank. The Evod style TS3 actually produces better flavor, but I like the shorter length of my Provari with the Protank. Gurgling does occur occasionally, but all it takes to clear that up is one corner of a paper towel twisted into a tight, short rope. Use it to rod out the center tube and remove the accumulated condensation. I have to do that 2 or 3, maybe 4 times a week. The paper towel comes out wet on the end and the gurgling goes away. IMO, it's condensation that occurs when moisture laden vapor is sucked through a metal tube. When it gets bad enough, the drops roll downward and collect at the bottom.

The Pyrex glass in the Protank is thick and durable. There are little scratches and nicks on the metal parts of mine where it fallen and rolled out onto concrete quite a number of times. The glass is still pristine.
