There's several reasons you see battery low on the mod. One of course has to do with the batteries, if they're charged the mod can still show "low" if they're old or broken.
Apart from that your mod could have contact problems, usually (-) at the 510 or the contact between the batteries (those are just the most common problems mods have, the board could also be hosed at a number of points). The g-priv 2 looks like it can't really be disassembled in an easy way to check that.

You could put the batteries in a different mod to see if they're working properly, if they do then the cause is in the mod. If you don't have a 2nd one (which, honestly, you should - always have a backup mod) maybe you know someone who owns a mod so you can test the batteries?

Is your gpriv2 still under warranty?

A few more questions to help us figure out what's going on:

  1. Are you getting this message when the batteries are fully charged?
  2. What are the settings on your mod (your watts)?
  3. Where did you get the batteries?
  4. Have you had this problem from the beginning, or did it change after you cycled the batteries once or twice?

Hi and welcome,
The ceiling with those pair of batteries is 120Watts. (Presuming they are genuine and not Ebay/amazon/vape shop rewraps)
If you are at 95W or more, your battery life will be painfully short.
The "smok" device will NEVER deliver the wattage it advertises.

Cheers

I keep getting the "battery low" message while firing. I'm using LG 3000mAh-18650HG2, my mod is G-Priv 2 and it's only been 2 days, does this mean that I need to get new batteries already? Or is there something I should do?
What is voltage of batteries at rest? Under load? What is voltage or wattage set at what is ohm of coil h big is coil.

2 days is 4x my batteries normal run time .... js.

Sounds like a fault in the mod to me if your batteries are fine. It could be something electrical. I'm not good at that stuff, but if it's under warranty I'd probably return it. I don't love (personally) even trying to look at the guts of the mod and to me it make more sense to warranty than to poke around inside a mod in the hopes of fixing it, but also voiding the warranty. If I had a mod out of warranty die, I would then hand it to the husband to fix, but only in that case. I hope you can get that done quickly and easily. I guess you could also bring it to a vape shop to look at in case it may be something simple, but in your case if you have a warranty I would protect and use it, etc.

Best of luck,

Anna

Those are low-drain, high-capacity batteries. As such, they're good at low power levels, for a very long time. They don't do high power so well, at all. It's somewhat of a trade-off. You either get high power with a short life, or lower power for a longer time. What wattage are you vaping at? If it's on the higher end, I would suggest a different battery, perhaps one of LG's "HB" series (HB2, HB6) which have shorter run-times (mAh) but can support higher power levels (50w+/cell).

What wattage setting are you trying to vape at?

Like Izan said, a 20 amp cdr battery has a wattage ceiling of 60 watts per single battery, 120 watts if using two. If you mod setting is over 100 watts, the mods low voltage cutoff will be reached extremely quickly and you'll get a "low battery" warning. If you're trying to vape 100 watts or more, you'll need higher amp batteries.

-If you use a good quality 15 amp CDR battery like the Samsung 30Q or Sony VTC6, then you are good up to 45 watts per battery; 90 watts using two; 135 watts for three batteries.

-If you use a good quality 20 amp CDR battery like the LG HG2 or Samsung 25R then you are good for 60 watts per battery. If using a 2-battery regulated mod, your good for 120 watts as you have two batteries. If you are using a 3-battery mod, you're good for 180.

-If you use a single 25 amp CDR battery like the Sony VTC5A, then you are good for 75 watts per battery, 150 watts for two batteries, and 225 watts with three.

-If you use a single 30 amp CDR battery like the LG HB6 you are good up to 90 watts; with a pair of 30 amp CDR batteries you could safely do 180 watts.
