I currently have 4 batteries I use in my Drawtube. 3 are the EH 18350 IMR's, 800
mah, 8c rating so 6.4 max amp I guess. The 4th is the no name dishy brand battery that came with the mod. It is an 18650, unprotected, 2200mah, 5 amp max output. The question is: why does the 18650 kick like a mule, but the 18350's provide a fairly disappointing vape? Same juice, same aga t2 at 1ohm, same mod. Same result with different mods and atty's. The better question is: which brand of 18350 imr kicks like a mule?

I think part of your problem may be the fall-off when the battery starts losing it's charge. With any battery, when you first pull it off the charger, it should be at around 4.2v. That doesn't last very long until it's down around 4v, where it sits for a good portion of it's charge, slowly dropping to 3.7v, and then down into weak-tasting.

The higher the mAh of your battery, the longer those transitions take. An 800mAh battery will lose charge much quicker than a 2200mAh. If your device is sized to accept a kick by evolv, you could go that route. I've been using one for a couple years in my Silver Bullet. Or you could just rotate batteries sooner, before they hit that drop-off point.

I use AW IMR 18650s. Good, solid battery, imo.

Cheers,
