Battery fell apart, please help.

Actually, licking a 9V battery is a pretty common technique for figuring out if it's dead or not.

If it's good, the result will be a fairly unpleasant "ultra-tingle" on your tongue (which is why you just lick it very briefly). If it's dead, nothing. Still, that's how I usually test them, even though I have a multimeter in the next room......

That sounds like fun...:oops:

Rather than start a new thread, I thought I would add this here.
One of my Triton battery buttons is getting flaky. Sometime when you press it, the button does not glow and it does not heat the coil.
When I wiggle the button around a bit, it will start working again. This happened the first time about a week and a half ago and is now happening almost every day.
Anyone else have this problem and is there a fix or do I just have a battery going out?
