Batteries charging in the wismec rx200

Does anyone know what might happen if i charge the batteries inside my rx200 with 2Ampers charger? I am waiting for my external charger and i keep the mod plugged in to a 1 A charger that takes 3 days to charge the 3 2600mah cells. Is it any danger to plug in a 2A charger?

The RX200 is notoriously bad at "balancing" the charging of the three batteries. You will end up with one battery being more fully charged than the other two, which can lead to problems as one or two batteries will be worked harder than the other(s). Most people recommend NOT charging the batteries internally and instead using an external charger, but if you must do so, then at least you should take the batteries out and rotate them each charge cycle so that they still wear evenly.

That said, you shouldn't have any additional problems using a 2A wall plug instead of 1A. Amps are "drawn" by the device from the wall adapter, not "pushed" into it by the adapter. Using a 2A plug will not "force" two amps into the unit; rather it will make two amps available to the device, should it be capable of using them. If it is capable of charging at 2A, then it will charge the batteries roughly twice as fast as at 1A.

I will not add to what bwh79 stated, but I will also say to purchase an extra married set of batteries for your mod, that way you are not always wearing and tearing up a single set, nor have to wait for batteries to charge, one charging, one in service. General rule of thumb, this is not cheap to get into on at the higher end of the vaping price scale, high output mod, charger and 2x number of batteries the mod needs minimum.

Internal charging will shorten life of batts in that mod as stated above. Use them in single battery mods in the future..

Best advice I can give is never exceed/change the published charging recommendations of the manufacturer for a given device.

I would look into a four bay charger. I use a Nitecore D4 Digicharger. I have owned a few different chargers, but the Nitecore D4 charges batteries like they were discharged. It will charge the the batteries for my RX200 in about 3 hours. As you get more Mods and batteries you will be glad you have a four bay charger.

I charge each battery in my I stick pico and put them in my rx200s fully charged. Much faster that way also. Till I can afford an external charger.

Thanks so much guys. So many expert advices that now I am a specialist in charging batteries. My external 4 post charger is coming monday and until then i have to wait. So the main issue is that i can use a 2A wall charger it won' t do any harm to my rx. I also ordered 3 vtc5 batteries that are on the way but it takes 20 days to come from china to romania. But everything is fine now that i found out so many things from you......thanks so much.....what will i do without your help?
