I think everyone is different. I might be bringing up an old post...I found this by searching 'tinnitus' here in the forum. But this has been my only issue with vaping so far. I've been vaping for 2 weeks. While I've had tinnitus for about 3 years now constantly, I call it 'raging' now. It's not just ringing...it's raging. The more I vape at night, the louder the ring, with some added roars to boot. I miss silence. :( Anyhow - in my 2 weeks of vaping, I'm also 2 weeks analog free which is awesome. I'd rather have ringing ears than lung cancer or emphysema. I do hope to eventually go down to 0mg nicotine, since that may be the culprit. They say that tinnitus is not something alone...it's an effect of something else going on. My ringing is in my brain...not my ears. I've had a few head injuries as a child and teen. So, whatever is making it louder, is because the vaping is activating the source...if this makes sense.

I started getting bouts of tinnitus about 15 years ago and it turned out to be caused by the strong coffee I drank from get up to go to bed. The cure was to switch to decaf until it would go away, which would take from a week to a month to work. I suspect if I stopped any of the "ines" like nicotine it would stop quicker.
I went to ENT specialists and it was just an off hand remark one specialist made that made me try the decaf. Takes patience but for me it worked. When I get it, it's bad, always having people repeating what they are saying and all.
