So I just got the steam tuners wave tank for prime...I'm loving the looks ....there are 3 options on the drip tips. One you can use the prime top nut, which allows you to use any 510 drip tips, with this option , depending on the height of your tip, it's not that much shorter then the standard prime.. you can also buy special drip tips that screw directly into the wave tank itself without the need for the prime nut. The 2 most available special tips are k31 & k32 which are 10mm in height by 10mm wide and have a bore of 5mm. With these tips, both in SS, the wave tank is the shortest it's going to be and has a total height , with drip tip, of 50mm. The 3rd option is the k41 drip tips, these also thread directly into the wave tank and are 12mm in height by 10mm width with a bore of 4mm. The k42 tips are available in SS, clear, and white. I have seen the wave tank being sold with & without the prime nut and if not, you either have to buy the prime nut separately or purchase the special DT's. The tank itself costed me 19 bucks and either the special DT'S or prime nut is an extra 10 to 15. Here is the prime with the prime nut ( first pic) and k41 tip in SS...I'm liking the k41 tip much better.

Good write up Diver.
Unfortunately the steam tuners stuff isn't cheap, well maybe it's not bad, but what puts it a little over the top is the shipping...I have only found their stuff overseas which adds another 15 bucks for shipping, so for basically one tank upgrade, your talking nearly 50 bucks! [emoji51] .

OK, It has been about a week...

I have not noticed and change in flavor, or coil longevity.

Only an increase in juice capacity and size.

Worth it? Yes!!!

Would I buy it again? Yes!!!

Hope this helps, Jim

Yes it helps, I will be ordering it soon.:)

Wrong place but you guys are great......anyone here have any experience with the Dicodes Mod. Debating on pulling the trigger on the Dicodes Dani 25......but 300 bones isn’t really cheap. My SX Mini G class is working fine. But got money burning a hole in my pocket.
Yeah that would burn a hole alright. :)

This may not be the same “class” or “level” as the Dani25...

But the JAC-Vapour Series B-75 is a dang fine mod!

I’ve been loving mine!

And it won’t break the bank!

The only problem I’ve had with it is:
It’s so small!

I forgot what it was like to carry a mod small than a Provape Radius or a Billet Box.

If you have ever held a ZNA or ZNA Lite, imagine that size only a little leaner.

Not as heavy, maybe some measurable amount smaller in diameter and height.

Just got the prime yesterday. I was immediately in love, 1.4 ohm 13w, heaven ! No need for a stupid reducer !
Back to true MTL, the mini v3 and the v5 got together and ... (you know the story).

My little collection is growing.

A few couple pages back I have a few pics of the wave tank and what I really like is not to use the prime nut, but instead the k41 SS drip tip...I mean they both look killer, but I like the shorter profile without the prime nut...but if you are set on your own drip tips, then the nut is the only option.....the only potential issue with the steam tuners tanks are the threading on their tanks. There's not much threading mating to chimney and I'm always careful when closing JC on prime. I prefer not to hold wave tank while closing JC, but try to hold the prime just above JC with one hand and turn JC with other...I feel if I hold the wave tank itself while closing JC, it puts pressure, or tightens tank more onto chimney

Can you still top fill with the wave tank? don't see where you would

Don’t own one of these tanks specifically, but I own several Steam Tuners tanks for other Kayfun models.

You can still top fill with these tanks.

The tanks allow for the stock “top nut” to be used.

Steam Tuners also makes a line of single piece drip tips that replace the stock “top nut”. They have different versions, with different materials.

Both of those configurations still allow for top fill.
