Hey guys...

Let’s just remember this is a text-based conversation and there’s always a lot that can get lost in translation when it’s just words on a screen.

I’m sure in person, face to face, this conversation would sound very different.

——

Let’s also remember that vaping is one of the most subjective things we do.

Airflow, draw, flavor, throat hit, wicking, wrapping, coiling, building, juice control, VG, PG...

Watts, volts, temp control...

Brands, colors, stainless, titanium, Ultem, polycarbonate, plastic...

Batteries, chargers, vendors, tweezers, screwdrivers, ohm meters, YouTube reviews...

I mean any one of those things is a personal preference, so there’s no WAY two people can have the same experience with the same tank.

Sorry for the rant.

Just hate seeing stuff like this devolve into something worse.

Seen it too much over the years and it’s why I’m not as active on ECF anymore.
I was just trying to help. The post to my response was Un called for imo. Like calling me out on every thing i posted. vapdivrr this, vapdivrr this, vapdivrr this, all in bold face capital type. And the last one, when I said " I'm not trying to talk you into it" and the response, vapdivrr" don't worry you wont". That whole post was just an angry rant geared towards me and the prime that was out of line imo.

If it helps, I’ve never “met” or seen Squonkoholic before these posts (that I can remember).

I didn’t read his long response as angry.

I read it as him carefully replying to multiple parts of your post.

I reply like that myself sometimes, when it’s appropriate to respond to multiple parts of someone’s post.

Just my two cents.

I received mine on Friday, but I guess it's not a keeper for me. Even in TC the vape is too warm for my taste, it leakes air through the AFC and the most important thing: I can't stand the noise it produces. No way. It was worth a try, but the Prime doesn't even come close to my Flash e Vapors.

Have you tried changing your build? Every tank is different. Also I think lowering the coil closer to the airflow hole makes the vape a lot cooler. Regarding the air leaks you talk about, this is not something i’m experiencing with the prime. I have zero leakage of air when closing off the air hole. Its not built to leak. This is not a design feature or smth. Maybe one of ur o rings is damaged.

As for your ‘style’ of commenting, I agree with vapdrr here. This guy used his free time to try to help you, on which you serve him a rather harsh sounding answer. Even if it wasnt ment to sound that way it obviously was offensive to him.

Maybe it is my fault then...I know what you mean , I have seen that format as answers to a thread topic before. I guess everyone is different and I was just thinking how I would of responded and that's probably where I went wrong....I recently bought a another tank and have been watching another thread and although it's an ok tank and I do use it, it's nowhere what I thought it was going to be, and nowhere as good as everyone in the thread says it is. I guess I just rather still participate in the thread instead of telling everyone how disappointed I am, because I know it's all just subjective and see no reason for it. so sorry for starting this, I should realize everyone reacts in a different manor...

Love my Prime. Few things I wish were different. But compared to the Ares or the Siren 2. Prime is a billion times better. Siren 2 is a joke from my experience. Ares flavor muted imo, and something with airflow. Just not a huge fan of it.

Now just if there a 25mm black Prime......ah wishful thinking I guess. Not a fan of the small capacity, and extension take makes it feel too tall.....but I work from home. Not an issue filling it every few hours. I would buy another Prime in a heart beat.

No fault here...

Just need to take a step back and let cooler heads prevail.

I wouldn't mind 25mm, but I would have to buy a whole new set of mods. I don't have one mod that would work for that diameter. I don't even think any of my tanks would look good with a 23mm tank

Me either Diver. I think I might prefer wider over taller but not a game changer.

Soooooo......I did something stupid last night.

Long story short. Coil got loose, and burned the inside of the tank area. You can see the burn mark from looking at it through the glass. Left a nice visible burn mark. Question is.....Anyone know if I’ve gotta worry about anything. Health wise? I think I’m fine. Is the metal coated in anything that would release something nasty to my precious bodily fluids?

Haven't heard that one before. I wouldn't worry about a health thing. For starters, anything nasty is such a small amount to make any difference. Second, just remember you put stainless steel on a hot stove and cook on it. You survived that.

Yes that's a first for me too...never heard of anyone burning the outside part of chimney....the only part I have seen a little blackened is the upper part inside chimney, but that always cleans up...if coil got loose, I can see a short, but you would think the mod would protect it instantly to where a burn mark wouldn't really happen...

I’ve never seen it before either. Be yeah, burn mark on the inside and outside. In other news, just order the PEI tank from Origin Vape, so I’ll never have to be reminded of my screw up. Lol

Kind of like a rainy day. Don't have to look at it anymore once the sun goes down.

Well I have to say after using the prime for a few days. :thumb: I have the air flow set on 2, and the air flow is the same as my Non + lite. I have to still get used to the juice control, but I am getting the hang of it. The first air flow setting seems tighter than my non + to me. I will most likely be getting more of these, along with that extension kit. :)
