Atomizer Short

eleaf I Stick 30W Battery
Milo III Atomizer
Battery says Atomizer Short
Replaced Coil and still Atomizer Short
Replaced Milo III Atomizer and still reads Atomizer Short
Battery will show No Atomizer if Atomizer is removed
Has my battery gone south or is there something I can do?

The atomizer 510 pin isn't connecting to the mod pin. That or the coil isn't screwed all the way into the atomizer and making contact. Or the mod 510 is stuck down or dirty. Have you tried cleaning it out to make sure it isn't wet inside the connection?

Tried a know good atomizer and that didn't work.
Cleaned the battery 510 area with Alcohol and dried completely
Still not working. Not sure if I want to take the battery apart or not.

Could be that the pin is pushed down and stuck. You could try lifting the pin a bit with a toothpick or small screwdriver with the mod turned off.

Some Atomizers have long pins that push the 510 pin on istick too far down and it messes up the spring. The Istick should have a spring loaded pin on it.

Cleared the pin and it does have a spring. All is working.
This battery is a least 6 months old so it just might have given it up.
Tried several different Atomizers with same results.

Sounds like its time to step up your game. Two battery box. Voopoo drag is a good choice. You wont be disappointed.

I haven’t had that issue with any of my eleaf s, but I’m sure I’ve seen it addressed on the forum.

If the tank contact is either not out far enough or too far the mod may not be able to read it. Not sure if that applies to your model, but it’s worth a shot.

On a eleaf Pico 75 I had that did the same thing, it was caused by a damaged insulator on the mods 510 pin.

The battery worked one day and the next day it didn't work. Something for sure went bad and all trouble shooting leads to the battery. Cleaned all I can clean on the outside, tried a brand new atomizer that didn't make the problem go away so must be inside the battery. Time for a new one. Thanks for all the help.

Which coil are you using.... could be bad batch of coils. could be too low for that mod... doesn't the 30W have .5ohm cut off. Could be if ypu were running a lot of amps through it and the PCB is cooked.

Tried new coil and no good. I have two of these batteries. One still working the other just quiet. Tried the atomizer off the working battery and that didn't work. Tried several different atomizers with no luck. Coils are eleaf 0.3 ohms. Battery worked for 6 months or better before quitting. Battery was set at 20W when it stopped working.

Well maybe the pin on the mod got pushed in too much..... could try the old EGO battery pin adjustment. .. using small screwdriver pry pin upward.

What does mod say when fired without atty attached... should say NO atomizer.

You are correct. That is what is shows. "No Atomizer"
