I'm definitely going to be getting the matrix with a new box mod after i finish these atlantis coils out.. Maybe the sigelei 100 w plus will be paired with it (not sure what else is out there thats decently priced but powerful). After looking into it, everything has been positive, and it seems to beat all the other tanks when compared. Im excited to get it in a couple weeks. That being said what wattage range is a good "sweet spot" and do you like the .2 or the .6 ohm coil?

Awesome! You'll have to let us know what you think.
I'm also a huge Sig fan, I have my Matrix on a 150.
The 100+ has been the go to box for best bang-for-the-buck for awhile now, but I'm not 100% up to date on some of the newer ones.

I prefer the .6 coil, it's got a lot of range to it.
I was most happy at 40-60W depending on what juice I was using. It'll go up to 80W (I can take it to 100 with no dry hits) on the .6 , but it didn't increase the flavor as much as I hoped. The vapor was crazy, though. Too much lower than 30 and my juice started tasting bland, but it'll run comfortably under 40w.

The .2 is little more one-dimensional. Needs to be run pretty high to get the most out of it. I was pretty happy around 60-70w, though it'll handle 100 easily. If you prefer a cool vape, I'd stick to the .6. The .2 can get very warm.

I ended up rebuilding my coils to .5, seems to be where I like it the most, at 60w. I'm a somewhat high wattage vapor, so your experience may vary a bit.

I must be one of the only people who has had zero issues with their Atlantis. I have three running and they've all performed flawlessly. No leaking, no gurgling, no spitting liquid, no burnt hits. I guess I should knock on wood and consider myself lucky.

I'm also weird in that I've tried the organic cotton .3 ohm coils, but I prefer the older .5 ohm coils with the ceramic paper. I don't like cranking up the wattage too high on my devices (I stick around 25 watts with my iStick), I can't stand too much heat. I also don't like too much air-flow, either. So I ended up trading my Atlantis 2.

My Atlantis was running smoothly to where coils would last up to 4 weeks but then recently I've been getting duds and it sucks when you spend money and some of the coils are bad. I like 25 watts too for the ceramic coils .5 ohm, but the problem with the ceramic is the flavor diminishes in 1 tank full. I'm surprised to hear you prefer the ceramic ones haha

Sounds good. When I get it I'll mess around with it for a little and let you guys know what I think. I'm sure i'm going to love it going from an atlantis to that. Keep a look out in a month for my "review" on here haha

Well I have the Atlantis v2 and love it not a single problem yet, flavor is amazing as well as vapor production.. only things I personally don't like is the gigantic drop tip like this thing is huge so I ordered the Atlantis 5ml replacement glass so I get more capacity and the old drip tip but more airflow and new coils I'll update when I get it setup and running

The nickel Atlantis coils are awesome. I'm using it now in an Atlantis 2 tank and I have it cranked at the 40 watt limit of the rDNA40 and it isn't at the limit of the coil. I feel that there is still room to crank the power up even more.
Ok I lied I decided to grab a pack so its enroute from VS, still enjoying my new rta tho!

Honestly mine has been pretty much flawless for me as well. No dry hits or flooding or gurgling or leaking. I've been through several 5 packs of coils and have yet to have a bad one. I had awful luck with Nautilus coils and was lucky to get 3 good ones out of 5 sometimes. The Atlantis is pretty hassle free. I refill it and change the coil when needed with the occasional cleaning.

I've only noticed the gurgle and spitting on the original coils that were developed for the V1 Atlantis. As for the V2 coils nothing but love for em!

I just got the new .5 ohm occ coils and i love them. I do need to go higher up on the wattage compared to the ceramic ones to really get that flavor to come through, but once it does, it really is a step up from the v1 coils.

i have both the kanger sub (both full size and mini) and the atlantis 2 - currently using the atlantis 2 on a sigelei 100w plus with the .3 ohm coil at 70w and loving it - getting flavor like a dripper and clouds for days on a juice I generally just dripped before (Vintage Vapors 'The Kraken') - really impressed so far with the build on the Atl 2 (have an Atl 1 also, was my first sub ohm tank - not a bad tank, just not a great tank...) and not disparaging my Kangers either - they are great tanks - good, consistent flavor and vapor production... just that - so far - very impressed with the Atl 2 performance
