We went to get some new tires for our truck yesterday. After selecting and paying, I went directly back outside to sit on the benches outside the store, so I could vape in peace. A guy sat down right beside me, despite seeing my HOT pink mod in my hand. I sat there and vaped away, and it was really windy, so most of the vapor went in his direction, despite my blowing it away from him. He didn't say a word, didn't even seem to notice. I really think that by far the vast majority of nons really don't give a rat's patootie if we vape or don't, though most of them would most likely object to cigarette smoke.

I stealth vape pretty much everywhere, Walmart, movie theatre, the mall, my job, the bar etc. I'm at nearly 3 years and I've never once been asked to stop or gotten kicked out of somewhere. With that said, I am also usually running a Joyetech Ecom w/ 75% PG / 35% VG juice while I'm out and about. Very little clouds and if I hold it in for an extra couple of seconds there's no clouds at all. I DO NOT subscribe to the fact that as vapers we should just lump in with the smokers, I feel that's doing just as much harm as the guy (or girl) standing in line at Walmart chucking clouds like they're in a cloud competition.

I think the biggest thing that has been successful for me is that I do not draw attention to myself in any way, shape or form nor do I feel like it's my 'right' to vape wherever I please, I'm courteous and discreet about it and I've never had a single problem. If anything the few times that someone has noticed me they've been smokers that are wanting to stop smoking analogs and have come up to ask me questions about vaping.

To be honest, I've never seen a hobby forum that is so judgemental against it's own hobbyists as some members here on ECF are. It's quite sad really and I certainly hope this phase will pass sooner rather than later.
Sometimes it is appropriate to chuck clouds in walmart. Black friday is my example. By the end of that night I was ready to go see if I could get a deal on a baseball bat and start smacking all those clowns. Lol. At that point very few of those people deserved my consideration. Lol. I vaped the crap out of my little zmax that night. Then went outside and still felt like I needed cigarettes. Lots of cigarettes. Lol.

Fwiw, I stealth vape in walmart all the time. And the smaller grocery stores. And restaraunts. And just about everywhere else I go. Never had a problem anywhere. Just don't blown big annoying clouds and you probably won't either.

I was at an estate sale a few weeks ago, waiting in line early. There were a few other people there, my husband, a friend of ours who we always see at estate sales, and an older lady who is always first in line. I was vaping in line, but had stepped away from everyone a few steps and was making a point to blow the vapor away from everyone. The wind sort of shifted, and my cloud went in the direction of the little old lady. I fanned her and apologized. And she actually said "No, it smells nice, you can blow it over here."

We had a whole conversation about it. Turns out she quit smoking five years ago, but still really wants a cigarette sometimes. She told me she'd be interested in vaping for those times, so I started telling her about eGos and stuff (thinking that she'd want something smaller and more discreet with less power.) And she said "No, I want one like what you have, one that makes a WHOLE LOT of smoke!" Little old ladies, blowing clouds. Dogs and cats living together, mass hysteria.

Are you giving the people around you a choice on whether or not they are exposed to your vapor?

If not, don't you see the hypocrisy of your comment?

As soon as every person with bad breath is forced to stop breathing in public on the chance it might offend someone, I will stop vaping in public. Until then, if my vapor offends them they have the choice to move away from me, just as I would move if someone's breath offended me.

The ANTZ are trying to ban vaping no matter what we do.

Yes, be respectful vaping in public

but if you're worried about the ANTZ, do your research, contact your representatives, join CASAA...

be respectful in your vaping and your contacts with others, but don't hide either literally or figuratively. We can only win if enough of us speak out.

Then push back even harder! This is our future, so fight for it like your life depends on it.
