Didn't see a thread for this one yet, figured I'd get one going in case anyone else was interested. @scooterstew71 and I commented about it in the Aurora thread.

I initially dismissed this when I first saw it, probably because I had just received the Recurve and was infatuated with it at the time. I have a pair of them coming in the mail today if the USPS does it's job.

What got my interest in this one was several folks comparing it (more) favorably than the Recurve. Figure it might be a hidden gem here that hasn't gotten much attention yet.

It's got an aluminum top cap similar to the Nudge, airflow system similar to the Recurve, but the deck is more similar in style to the Nudge instead of the postless deck in the Recurve.

It looks like an 810 drip tip, but with the o-rings on the drip tip instead of inside the top cap. This might be a negative for some.

Anyways, I'm pretty stoked about this one and looking forward to giving it a go soon.

Here's the link from vapordna. They have them currently for $29.99, I believe they are $34.99 direct from Asmodus.

Asmodus C4 24mm BF RDA | RBA

Not too many reviews out for it yet, but that seems typical (I believe) for Asmodus products? Seems like it takes a while for folks to review their stuff. Maybe they don't push it to the reviews like some of the other companies.

Anyone???

Mine came, first impressions...

A little more difficult to clamp the coil leads down, but part of that was due to the fact the I was using flat wire. I had to hold it so the screws would hit down on the wire. Wouldn't be an issue with round wire or larger wires from what I'm guessing.

Very good build quality for an RDA in this price range. The drip tip is a very nice stab wood tip. Also comes with a (delirin) tip if you prefer. Very classy looking RDA in my opinion.

O rings are good once lubed up. Everything moves without difficulty, but nothing is going to come apart.

Extremely smooth airflow. As mentioned by @scooterstew71 , when wide open, it's slightly more restrictive than the Recurve.

I'm getting a ridiculously good vape from it using a 0.3x0.9mm rectangle Ni80, 3mm at 7 wraps (0.4 ohm). Had to turn the Pulse down to 25w, from the build I had in the Nudge as I was starting to get a bit nic sick. I wish I had put a braided wire build similar to the Recurve for comparison. I'm going to be vaping on this coil for a while, lol. I like it a lot.

Kind of strange it's advertised as a BF RDA, but I had to replace the standard pin with the squonk pin. The squonk pin has a small bore compared to some others, but it feeds/sucks just fine. The juice is fed directly to the wells on both sides when you squeeze the bottle.

I can't judge it for flavor since I'm vaping unflavored, but it vapes as well as the Recurve, if not better. Need some more time with it. I really like the slight restriction with it wide open though. Airflow is extremely smooth and quiet.

No regrets here folks. I think Asmodus has a winner. I'll rotate this and the Recurve for a few weeks and see which I prefer.

Today will be my first full week with it. In all honesty, I haven't put it down yet. I rewicked my Nudge 22 and Recurve so they are ready to go, but I have been vaping the C4 exclusively since I got it.

The vape for me is very similar to the Recurve, however, the C4 is a bit more restrictive than the Recurve (running them both wide open). I like the amount of restriction it has though. I think the C4 looks much classier than the Recurve. Machining of the deck and top cap is very good for a I'm running the grey one on my Pulse and it looks very nice.

The only downside to me is that it's a bit more difficult to clamp the screws down onto the wires when building. They are hex screws, and the way they mount is made for larger round wires. I'll try a coil with larger wires next time, I'm guessing it will be easier to build than the flat (rectangle) wire coil I have in it now. I kind of had to hold the wires in place to get the screws to seat centered on top of the leads since they are flat. No real biggie to me though. I usually only rebuild every 4-6 weeks anyways. For a thicker flat wire such as a fused clapton, it shouldn't be an issue.

I went ahead and picked up another backup for the vape closet. This one is a keeper for me as far as a single coil squonk topper. This is in my top three current favorites along with the Nudge 22, and the Recurve. Now I just need to be happy with my current setups and stop trying new things, lol. Still haven't even given the Hotcig Castle or the GR1 a fair shot yet though. They are built and ready, other stuff keeps getting in front of them.

Hello, how do you think the C4 will be as a straight forward dripper? I’m going to get one either way but just wondering how deep the juice well is?
I think the C4 really shines as a squonk topper.

It doesn't have a huge juice well like other 24mm RDAs primarily intended for dripping. However, comparing it to the Recurve and the Nudge 22, it looks like you could drip quite a bit more juice in it without issues. The deck in the C4 is more 'open' around the coil area and it looks like the deck will hold a bit more juice than the Recurve or Nudge 22 before it gets up to the lower holes on the deck. So I would think it would make a better dripper than either of those two if you are looking for a comparison.

Of course, if you fill it up and tip it, it is going to leak. Plus, you probably don't want that much juice in it or you're going to be getting close to the bottom of the coil.

I could see it quite usable as a dripper compared to some others. I squonk pretty often (maybe about every 5 pulls), but there's never any juice left on the deck once the bottle sucks it back down. I've never had mine leak when using it as a squonker. I pocket carry it all the time, but I don't go hog crazy on the bottle either.
