I did have to make another eightvape order, 8 100ml chubby gorilla bottles for only $2.15 shipped.

Should have gotten more but I figured should leave some for others.
They want to charge me 7.95 shipping for the same order.

I'm just anxious W/O Smoking & 1 Dying Old mod. So I've ordered 4 in the Never Again Spirit which Does this dumb ars No Good In Transit! Must Distract myself & not with Compulsive Buying which so fleetingly Satisfies Counting Days is Worse Than Counting Sheep. Resisting the urge to easily buy a stinking Pack of Cigarettes. Another Long Day of Flash Sales & Chasing Codes & Backing Out Of Beautiful Shopping Carts

Don't give in to the cigarettes. If you have to, buy a juul. They're not great, but better than nothing.

Since just about everyone here is stocked up now with enough mods, etc. to last a lifetime, may I ask how y’all plan to rotate your regulated mods so as to maximize their cumulative useful lifespan, hoping at least one keeps going at least long enough?

Also, do tanks die slowly when sitting unused? They don’t have batteries or circuit boards – do they? – but there are intricate parts and plastic.

Thanks. Gone from stocking the bomb shelter to trying to live in it now, I guess.

There are concerns that OLED screens can fade over about 10 years even siting on the shelf unused. My Pico'S and VTC mini's are in my stock pile partly because they can be configured via PC with artic fox firmware.

Glass in an atomizer could break if there is glass. Gaskets could need to be replaced. Threads could strip or wear out. The insulator between the center pin and the tank could break. Screws or the drip tip could be lost.

My primary and still favorite atomizer is reletively simple and tough and I was able to get a bunch of them basically dirt cheap, strength in numbers. I took a simillar approach to mods. I stockpiledd picos and vtc minis and still prefer them to any others.

That's why I included an unregulated mod and a simple rda in my stash. I have brushing up on my physics, so when I need it I can use it safely.

For the devices and toppers I enjoy most I have multiples, as getting them at low prices is cheaper than spare parts in most cases. Cheap insurance and immediate satisfaction when needed. Backups for backups for backups.

For now, enjoying built in devices while the batteries are fresh is the first step. I'll have at least one built in battery mod and pod setup in the rotation for the next few years.

@Fstop - There are different suppliers who have their products listed on Ejuices.com and on Eliquid.com. There are/were 2 different suppliers with the Aegis Max listed. One has it for $52+, the other has it for $39.98.

Choose 1 of the $39.98 ones and then add something dirt-cheap (like a cheap new eliquid bottle) to your cart to make the total $40 or more. Then use the code 25LABORDAY to get 25% off your order total + get Free S/H!

This deal expires on 9/1/20 at 10:59 am PST.

How many regulated mods does it take for most of you to be comfortable? My wife and I don't seem to have great luck with them - either the screen dies or it stops reading the coil. I even had a solo stop reading the coil after 4 months and the 510 was clean and the pin was not stuck down. We are not clumsy and rarely drop them. Right now we have about 12 each.

I don't know how to answer that as I rarely have a mod die (knock on wood here). I dropped a Pico in the pool and it drowned and a couple egos have died but otherwise no. I suspect it has to do with how much use they get also. Mine are rotated for the most part. I do have a Dagger that has been in daily use for 3 years and still going strong.

Maybe calculate for one every 4 months which has been your average and plan accordingly.

Thanks. Most last longer than 4 months, but I do tend to pick up one mod and ride it pretty hard. I do have an eleaf iStick 60w that I dusted off has been going off and on for 4 years. But I have watched several die after dissapointingly short periods.

There are concerns that OLED screens can fade over about 10 years even siting on the shelf unused.

I hope this is a myth, but not much we can do. I do have some REALLY old LED mods and some mechs, so it's not 100% scary to me if true.

I have only one mod so far that has a deteriorating screen which is a Pico 75W. It doesn't have completely dead pixels but it has quite a few dim pixels. I'd say at least 30% are dim. When I realized it about 2 months ago I opened it up to see if there was maybe juice inside on the board. I had the whole thing apart, dry as a bone and clean.

So I guess it's just old. But I have mods that are years older than the Pico 75W that have no sign of screen dimming or dead pixels. Did I drop the Pico? Probably. :D

The deteriorating 510 positive pin insulators are definitely a big deal. I've had several go bad on me both on mods and tanks.

This is why I save all my coil heads. They have many parts that can be used to fix other things, including rubber gaskets, o-rings and insulators.

Oh wait, I do have another mod that has a screen problem. It's a Shield Cig Mini 40W mod I got from FT out of boredom. It's a so so mod but it has a really nice bright screen with big font (the screen pics on FT don't do it justice).

I used it for a couple months or so then put it away for about 2 years. There was nothing wrong with the OLED screen when I put it away. I got it out end of last year and it has a messed up screen. Dead pixels and erratic behavior is the best way I can describe it. Still works, though.

I was a bit skittish making an order via fasttech, o rings, drip tips, and a few parts. It went well though...order placed Aug 8 and hit my mailbox Aug 29...I did ship usps expedited and that add on was cheap.
Sourcemore has the z coils on sale for $4.52 per box of 5.
And I really like my ultrasonic cleaner.

I had one Smok Mag 225w's screen go blank on me during my early attempts at building coils. Don't know if it was the mod's fault or mine. I was temporarily able to revive the screen, but now it's dead. I still use the mod. I've learned how to tell if it's on or off, and make educated guesses about the wattage by the amount of vape the coil puts out. I guess it's like an old car. You learn its eccentricities.

Indeed, I have a VAMO v3 which as far as I know was the first mod to use OLED and it still functions.

Not very useable since I believe the lowest it will fire is 1.2 ohm if not higher.
