The cr123 batteries I have seen have all been 3v. If they have a protection circuit they are the same size as a 16340. I have 16340 batteries in both 3v and 3.7v. Please be extremely aware of what you have and the charger you use for them. A 3.7 v battery in a 3v charger simply won't charge. A 3v battery in a 3.7v (4.2v nominal) charger could be disasterous.
CR123A only means it's a 1 X 2/3 the size of an "A" battery (17500)...so it encompasses the most common 16340 and 17335 cells. The chemistry of the cell dictates the voltage and so any CR123A could be 1.2, 1.6, 3 or 3.2 or 3.7V nominally.
maybe you want to forget CR123 or LiPOFe4 batts, very dangerouse on vapping. Without a good protection you have a lot of chance to win a free ticket to hospital
