Saw pictures having logged onto PC, are these buttons same as old metal Reo buttons or are these different just I have three and only one metal one wood

Looks like the same buttons to me... I don't have a brass one to compare, but the one off my woodville is a brass cover identical to my aluminum one. Also, one from my woodvil fits on my mini.

Thanks! I sure think so too... I see some woodgrain patterns in Roscoe's future.
The button cover popped right off, just like regular Reo buttons. Turns out, the whole mechanism is just like a regular Reo button. I think Rob was just kidding when he advised against trying to change them...

Oh wow! When I get brave enough......[emoji12] This could really open up alot of possibilities. LOL

If anyone wants one of my buttons on their woodvil I will be glad to install it for them and/or i can send my button to the spa for Rob to install if he is willing.

If you want to carefully remove the button, take 2 pieces of waxed dental floss. Slip one under the button on each side and slide them towards the center. Twist the ends of the floss together on each end. Now gently rock each twisted end one at a time. This will lift the button up and the waxed dental floss will help prevent injury to the wood. It takes a bit of coaxing to get the dental floss under the button but it does work.

I suspect i won't make more than one a week so probably 3-4 weeks. If you want on the list just copy the list and add yourself to the bottom. #51 is gone and I am out of the kawasaki green/black right now but will make another batch soon. Buttons are $15 each and shipping is $6. Shipping is free with order of 3 or more.
