I've looked through a lot of the threads but not finding one. I currently have TFA ripe banana, cheesecake (graham cracker crust), cream...I used these three and it's ok but seems like something is missing. Thinking there might be one little flavor I could maybe add. If anyone has a good recipe for banana cream pie I would appreciate it.

Try adding Vanilla bean Ice cream to it and some Caramel. What % are you using for flavors?

I use:

6.7 % banana cream
6.7% Vanilla bean Ice cream
4% Bavarian Cream
4% Cheesecake Graham cracker crust
2% Sweet Cream
2% Vanilla bourbon

The original source I got this recipe from called for either 2 or 4% caramel, but I dont have that in my supplies so I skipped it. I would post the link to the original source I found it at, but my work computer wont allow me to load that web page....

All TFA.

Not sure if the van. Bourbon is going to stay though, I have a slightly acidic taste in this batch. I also loved the banana cream flavor so I tried adding a little more (2ml addition to a 30ml bottle) but it turned the banana flavor to a harsh chemically flavor... So that is definitely going back to the 6.7%.

Hm I just bought some vanilla custard from Capella, I wonder if that can kind of replace vanilla bean ice cream and Bavarian cream? I have a regular cream flavoring too and then the cheesecake-gram cracker crust. I don't have any of the other ingredients. Might try it with the stuff I have and see what it tastes like and if still not close then I will pick up some other flavors. I use about 10-15% flavor total. This first batch I did 4% ripe banana, 8% cream, and 2% graham cracker crust. All TFA. the banana was overpowering. I think once I get the vanilla custard flavor I will add that in and reduce the banana a little and hopefully that will get me closer to a flavor I desire. But I will keep your suggested ingredients in mind if my next alteration still doesn't get me close. Thanks!

But why be simple?? :danger:

Lol! I rarely do anything the simple way. I had already purchased the Vanilla Custard before I saw your last reply so I will try a new batch in the morning reducing the banana, adding the vanilla custard to the recipe, and maybe I will have a winner. And if not...well then I may check out the simple route. Lol.

Yes that is true, I bet the banana tones down some after it sits for a bit. I have a blackberry custardy concoction sitting and hoping it is better after a week. It was totally vapeable when I first made it, but again the blackberry was a bit strong and a tad perfumy. I bet it is good after a mellow down period. Thanks for the tip!

I hate waiting. im about as patient as a 2 year old. I always shake and vape. normally I mix 30Mls at a time so the whole sitting and steeping a few week rarley happens. this bottle was just a happy accident. But after tasting the benefits, I just may have to let them sit more often! :)

I tried the blackberry mix this morning again after sitting a night and it is much better after one night. So that is good. So I will mix up my new banana recipe and let it sit and try to be patient. At least I have a few other flavors that are already good to go so I can switch things up. :)

Lol! I made a 10mL batch. Whatever your base amount are you use, I did a 10% flavor with the first try and then added some drops additional so the flavor is probably between 12-15% now. I did
4% blackberry (TFA)
4% vanilla custard 2 (Capella)
2% graham cracker-cheesecake (TFA)

After trying it I added 4 drops of a regular Cream, and 4 drops more of the vanilla custard. I had no goal in mind for this one tasting like any particular thing (like a cobbler for example) so I am pleased with the flavor at the moment. After it sat for a night it already mellowed out a bit. I will finish the little tank I filled and let the rest of the batch sit a few days longer and let you know if it's better/worse etc. :)

I was missing the graham cracker in my first attempt at something like this--I knew it was missing "something"...I'll give it a shot with that cause I do love me some blackberry :w00t:

I do too. Hope yours turns out the way you like :)

This is currently what I'm vaping that I made last weekend...Figured I would share with you if you like these flavors! It's really tasty this way, but I'm gonna bump it by 1% each flavor next time just to see what it does.
