Anyone else vape unflavored? Talk to me about it.

I considered myself to be a flavor-chaser when I started vaping, and don't get me wrong - I'm a huge fan of the deliciousness that Nicoticket and Velvet Cloud can produce, for example. But for cost reasons (my income is laughably low) and for general healthiness (reducing the number of ingredients I'm taking into my lungs on a regular basis) I started vaping unflavored liquid more often than not. I have only purchased unflavored juice from Nude Nicotine thus far, and I do really like it. Their customer service is great, the price is highly tolerable, and the juice is very nice. I wonder, though, if there might be an equal or greater option for me, quality and price -wise. Maybe not, but it's worth a shot.

Talk to me about vaping unflavored. Where do you buy your liquid, and what do you think of it? If you have tried a few different vendors, what differences (price, consistency, flavor, etc) have you noticed? Anyone you'd particularly recommend?

I'm also wondering if any vendor in particular sells a 100% VG base that has a thinner consistency than others. I don't require pure VG by any means, I'm currently using 50/50 right now, but the only reason is that any higher is too thick to keep up with me and I burn my wick.

Well, it kind of depends on your pg/vg ratio. Vg has a nice sweetness to it, which I am a fan of. I have never tasted pure pg, but from what I can tell, it doesn't have a flavor of any kind. Not sure about that, though. I had a 70/30 unflavored juice, which basically just tasted like a subtle sweetness, and nothing else. It's actually hard to describe, I guess. I have only tasted unflavored from one source, though. Some say unflavored can taste peppery, but that has not been my experience.

It has a slight tabbaco note, and sweet slightly. Some think it has a bit of vanilla.

Do you add your own distilled water to your VG/nic? I was considering doing so, but I'm not sure if there is a "right way" to go about it. Can I just buy a jug of distilled water from the store and add a few drops until it's the consistency I want? Should I boil it or something, or be sure to only add it to a small amount of my juice (as apposed to a whole 250ml bottle..)?Obviously that will bring down the nic level, but I don't mind that. Also, sorry about all the questions. Hah.

The online store MyFreedomSmokes often has good sales. Nude nic is top of the line quality, the other place s you'll see on here will be similar. There are slight taste differences, I always recommend buying The small bottles from a few places.

Never tried them, there are many here that like the MFS and many that like the NN. I've only used Wizard Labs since I switched over a few yrs ago.

Sometimes I drip plain 100% VG without nic to test out my cloud blowin builds..I've added 3mgs of nic before but it needs a little flavoring to be really suited for constant vaping...

I mix my own. For simple math, I buy 60mg nic in VG. I mix 10% nic base, 10% DW (yes the gallon for a dollar at the grocery store), 80% VG. That is 10ml nic base, 10ml DW, 80ml VG for 100ml bottle.

Now I dropped to 3mg so 10ml nic base, 20ml DW and 170ml VG for a 200ml batch. Simple and Cheap

To me, PG has a taste that I don't like. Unflavored with nic tastes like a light cigarette. Some people say Marlboro Lights.

None of it is unflavored. It tastes like PG/VG/Nicotine.
Not a lot of flavor but some.

I got a shot glass at Bed Bath and Beyond that is marked in tsp tbs oz and ml for under $5 and it works great for the smaller amounts.

If you are going to vape PG/VG mixes, buy your nic in PG. It stays mixed better in PG, I've been told.

I do the same things! I drip usually, so I will use mostly unflavored, but add a few drops of something tasty here and there. I've actually found that my tastes have changed since switching. I find most juice to be too sweet these days, and what would have had a barely detectable flavor for me has become sufficient. That may have something to do with being a non-smoker for longer now, but I think the unflavored really helps.

I haven't bought Nicotine Base in awhile. Having a couple of Liters in a Freezer.

But the Last Liter I bought I got from Wholesale Nicotine, Bulk e-Liquid, PG, VG and Supplies Heartlandvapes Wholesale

I was attracted to them because their Prices on Flavorings are Much Lower that Anyplace I have seen.

I would have to agree with this.

The closest thing I've gotten to the taste of a real smoke was high-PG 12mg unflavored.
And I kinda liked it just fine.
