Been trying out some HV vaping on the REOs and I realized one thing.

I like taking a long slow drag .... thats what I enjoy.

I think thats the reason I had burning problems with 1.5Ω 306 attys
I think thats why I won't be sticking with 5v or 6v for long
I think thats why I don't really care for dual coil catomizers over single coil

I don't want a quick blast of hot vape .... I wan't to enjoy a long drag of medium hot vape :)

Am I the only one that prefers this style ????

When I smoked cigs I took long huge drags (I'm not callled big hitter for nothing)
If I smoke other things I take huge lung filling drags.
When I vape I take huge lung filling drags.

I'm talking lung filling .... not a bit of space left to inhale any farther :)
None of that wussy mouth inhale puff puff kinda crap.

I think for the long haul daily use I'm a 2Ω atty or carto on an 18650 kinda guy.

I am still trying to find the right atty to get that long, slow drag. I get frustrated when the vapor is too hot and I have to cut the drag short. Experimenting with the 306 and I think I am close. For the 510 atty, I like the 1.8. (Don't remember how to make the little "sign")

Alt234 will give you the Ω sign :)

I use a cisco lr 306 1.5 and it works great for me. I think its very close to the long slow warm vape for me. Well there are the few in hits between that are not always right, but am loving it none the less (Tons better than on my vGo). Have tried the cisco lr 510 and prefer the 306. 510 just seems like a cooler, lighter almost vape in comparison. Maybe time to order some 306 2. Ω (yay it worked, I didn't know how to make that sign either!) and try those out.

I too like the long, slow, huge drags. The problem is finding a carto that can keep up with the wicking without giving off that "bad" taste. About the only carto that I have found that works with my GLV2 5v. is the Boge standard soft tipped. I've tried alot of the new stuff and I always end up getting that nasty taste when I try to hit it long and hard (no jokes please). Any suggestions as to what cartos can hold up to this type of vaping?

I too loooove the long slow drags. I am also a huge Boge Carto fan. For anything at or above 5v I use only the 3.0-3.2 ohm. For true 3.7 I stick to the Boge 2.0 ohm. I have tried just about all of the cartos out there including the CE2's in every revision. I always go right back to the Boge. If you are a fan of the tobacco flavors the boge 1.5 are also very good. Not so good for the fruity/sweet flavors though.

I know this sounds crazy, that is exactly what my ego-T preferred.
I gave my ego-T's to my wife and I went on to bottom feeders.

Since I maintain hers, I take a hit every now and then.
I am impressed with the lung full that I get with it.

The caveats
1. Some flavors are muted, not all, just those that need 3.7 vs 3.3ish.
2. The atty needs to hit right. Easy maintenance, but is necessary. It does have a 10 second cutoff. When it works good, 6 seconds is more than enough.

Ha, I was almost gunna' post the exact same thing! Yeah, the ego-T does deliver a nice, cool and long draw. This is assuming, of course, that everything is working properly. My Go-go can do the same, but for some reason that does better with my old ego-T whistle-tip on it. So, I'm about to sell all my ego-T stuff - and I have a lot of it.

As a smoker, I tended to hot-box. As a vaper, I mix it up. Right now, I'm swapping between my Reos, with one hot & fast, and the other set up for cool & slow. It's all good....
