Well I have 4 AGA T+ , actually 1 is a T2. I have pretty much mastered the process of building them, but they do seem to give off an odd taste. I do 400 mesh and .28 G wire and usually around 1.2 ohms. Vapor is good and there's no burning, but when I try my simple slim ego for testing flavors, there seems to be more flavor.
So, I'm thinking cotton might be what I'm missing. Watched the build vids and the process seem a lot better. No more killing my fingers rolling a mesh wick. Can't stand the process. I too had to drill the wick hole a bit larger. But Jesus, AGA AGT AGI AGM, you guys are killing me.
And sub ohm? Damn. I took a year off from looking at this stuff and I'm lost again. Now I see the AGA T+ has been phased out, or it seems a lot of folks have graduated.
The AGA-T2 has flavor typical of a quality 22mm genny inspired topper. Has a solid one piece hot pin for low voltage drop; unlike AGI, i-atty, etc.
I have not experienced any AGA-T2 off taste.
I'm still using same dual wick style:
