ANY TFA ( Fa) FLAVORING DIFFERENCES BETWEEN VERSIONS I & II ?

Has anybody out there experienced any flavor differences when using TFA's newer versions (II) of their original flavor versions (I) ? This would apply to the flavors which had a predominate ethanol base substrate and thus couldn't be shipped internationally and most recently now shipped with Hazmat fees in USA: "We are releasing new non-flammable alternatives to thirteen of our flavors, which means that they will have no shipping restrictions!
These flavors are: Lemon Lime II, Creme de Menthe II, Lemon II, Dulce de Leche Caramel, Hpno II, Tutti Frutti Deluxe, Key Lime Pie, Earl Grey Tea II, Boysenberry Deluxe, Gingerbread Extra Ginger, Maple Deluxe, and Chai Tea II" as well as Absinthe II and the Absinthe Flavor concentrate.

The thread title names TFA and then (Fa) in parenthesis. Does that mean The Flavor Apprentice and Flavourart?
No. For some reason I can't explain; some vendors and recipe sites have started to refer to TPA/TFA as "Fa" to differ from the common "FA" of Flavour Art. So I believe the OP was trying to identify Flavor Apprentice by both new and old abbreviations.

Yes, you are correct that I was trying to be as accurate as possible since The Flavor Apprentice (TFA) is now going by the abbreviation "Fa" ( FA is Flavour Art, another separate supplier) to distinguish itself from it's parent company The Perfumer's Apprentice (TPA). Why they chose the abbreviation "Fa" which is so easily confused with "FA" or Flavour Art is puzzling. I'd never seen the "Ta" abbreviation you referred to but I can see it would make more sense to use it for TPA/TFA, more so than Fa.
On another note (flavor), I highly suspected that the change in the flavor versions would result in less appealing flavors but I hadn't tried the version's II, so thanks for your input everyone. I think I'll stick with the originals.

Can you clarify? Ethanol should be evaporated off by the time we're tasting. What exactly is the difference in flavor that you perceive?

Some can taste the alcohol in the vape and to them this is not desirable. So the solution to this is to leave the cap off for 24 - 48 hours to let the alcohol evaporate off. It's not nessessary to evaporate off the alcohol if the taste does not put you off.

I hope there isn't a lot of difference because 3 of my favorites are on the list. I don't know for sure, but I read that the V1 originals would now carry very high shipping costs mandated by some regulation. If that's true then we might not have much choice.

I guess I'll find out soon. My understanding is that ethanol is used because some flavoring chemicals don't dissolve well enough in PG. So maybe they had to use some different flavorings in the ethanol free version. Or maybe not. In the case of diketone free versions they obviously had to use different formulations, but in this case we don't know yet. At least I don't. I'll be ordering some V2 Crème De Menthe, I'll let the world know what I discover.
