Any mods out there with a wattage lock?

My old Geekvape Aegis Legend is finally dead with a "Battery Low Protection" error that refuses to go away.

The Aegis Legend 2 I replaced it with is OK, I guess, but it does not allow me to lock the wattage, which means if it gets accidentally pressed I instantly fry my wicks, which is extremely irritating. I can lock the whole device, which includes the fire button, but I use it constantly so this is not really a viable option for me.

Does anybody know if there are any box mod options out there with a wattage lock like the old-school mods had?

I don't see it in either manual (both are attached), but I know it works with the 1. Try the front/mode button and Power Up simultaneously. It might lock the wattage for you (if you care).

To unlock, you either do the same thing, or Mode+PowerDown. I don't have one in rotation right now to check which is the reversal.

Or you can use the magnify feature.

But I can save you some time because I don't believe the feature is listed in either doc. I know for a fact it works with the Swag 1 because I used those a LOT.

The 2s I have are still wrapped in celo (lol). They'll get used too - I assure you.

I particularly like the ring lights with a magnifier in the center on a spring arm. It holds it for you so you can use both hands and provides good light. They also rock for painting miniatures.

Just use VPC mode and set all stages to whatever wattage you want and it won't change until you reset it.

Hi, I have the Wotofo mDura and it has a wattage lock which is very easy to use. You just press and hold the plus and minus buttons to lock and unlock the wattage. You’ll see a red padlock symbol above the ‘w’ (eg 56w) when it’s locked and a white padlock symbol when it’s unlocked. Really simple, takes a couple of seconds.

I actually have yet to see a regulated mod made in the last 10 years that DOESN‘T have one. They don’t always work well though.

The GV’s were notably bad. I couldn’t get mine to lock without having to watch some Russian YT video that indicated that it had to be put in stealth mode or some abracadabra bs.

The Swag II accommodates 24mm (maybe even 25mm). It's the original Swag (I) that only takes 22mm tops.

That's because the Zenith II is 26mm diameter at the AFC, so yeah

A regularly used mod o' mine is a EHPRO COLD STEEL 100. It's a single cell mod, but it takes 18650 or 2x700 batteries. It does have a 'key lock' function, so a wattage or voltage setting can be 'protected'. I am trying to get into a 'seat belt memory lock' mode with this now, because once I used my vape after retrieving it from a pocket that I swear wasn't the pocket I put it into.. and the up arrow button had been depressed by Mr. Murphy. Now I vape at around 7 or 8 watts, or less than 4 volts. This time however, the cotton wick didn't just ignite, but the kanthal round wire coil melted! That certainly wasn't a toke that I ever plan to repeat!

2. Use in VPC mode. I don't believe you can change the "curve" wattages without going into the 3-click menu system. Set all the wattages of the curve to the same wattage (unless you actually want a curve) and use it that way.

thanks man i just did this, luckily i drip but hitting my rig at 200w instead of 30-32w is brutal af. way too many of those hits to the lungs.
