I trade stocks a bit during the day and have been researching some way to invest in what I believe will be a huge growth potential for e-Cigs (if the FDA doesn't screw things up). So far I've found some Chinese manufacturers but no tradeable stocks. Has anyone else here had any luck?

Thanks much!

This was an interesting article (From 4/14/09?): Watch Out Big Tobacco

This was what caught my eye:
The only thing that somewhat resembles a pure-play on e-cigarettes I’ve been able to find is Ruyan Group (HK:0329). This is the company which has been making e-cigarettes in China and owns most of the patents for e-cigarettes. It also licenses them to international manufacturers. It recently inked a deal with a media company in China to help get the word out to some of China’s 350 million smokers.

On the bad side, it’s a highly illiquid penny stock traded in Hong Kong (it last traded for HKD 0.187). It hasn’t been immune from the economic downturn either. It expects to post a loss when its next report is filed with regulators.

I wouldn't invest a penny unless the FDA loses this court battle...follow the money...they are not taxing this form of nicotine and my analogs went up a buck a pack a few months ago. The powers that be are not liking the ecig. We are going to have one heck of a fight on our hands just to keep them legal.

FDA ruling in NJOY case allows Smokefree Innotech to sell their e-cigs in the US. SFIO had a 64% gain today and is headed to penny land. Only 1 of 2 publicly traded e-cig plays in the US and the other is at .50 ! SFIO only at .009 - Load up while they're cheap folks. Gonna run all week and make me a lot of dough. Have 1 million shares that only cost me $3K.
