I was wondering if there are any devices that can be attached inline (between battery and cart) that would detect how many puffs you take from ecig. I was thinking maybe it could count up every time it sees increased voltage for awhile.

I find it very difficult to know how many more puffs I have with a Green Smoke ecig. They say it can have 360 puffs so I keep counting them and writing them down everytime which is very time consuming.

Thanks

The number of puffs is rather a con job by the sellers of mall or branded ecigs. Everyone also puffs differently, length and speed being two variables. Use it until the flavor starts disappearing. Definitely don't go until you taste burnt polyfill. You can also buy your own ejuice to refill the cartomizers to save money. They can be good up to 10 or so refills depending on the type of juice and how you treat them.

When I was using cartomizers, I would dissect them before throwing them away to see if they were burnt. It helped me learn when I was going too far.

I don't know of an inline device but there are several batteries that will give you the amount of puffs. The Go-Go LCD is the only one I have. Go-Go Battery - Stainlesss with LCD

Not that I've ever seen.

But I do have a couple eGo's that have a built in vape counter and charge level bars.

Wow you learn something new around here everyday. A vape counter? Really? What will they think of next?

I love to count all sorts of things.
For the life of me though, I can't figure out what I would do with the information on how many vapes I get out of a cartridge, etc.
I vapes till it runs out or starts to taste funky and then refills it.

Now I want an eGo-T LCD - thanks - more hardware toys...:facepalm::blink::D

Thanks for all the great answers!

I am a very disciplined smoker (hope not to be for long heeh). I would smoke exactly 11 puffs ever hour or so of a king size smoke (Thats half a smoke BTW). I only just got my first ecig on Friday, so this is all very new to me.

Since I always inhale the same, it would be very helpful for me to count vapes; then I would know how much I am doing in a day as well as when it would be time to switch carts. I am really hoping I can do something like 10 vapes per hour like I did when smoking.

When I started out I wondered the same thing. I actually just pulled my stitch counter out of my knitting bag and clicked it every time I took a drag. You can buy them at almost all craft stores for 2 bucks or so now for a cheapo model. I think its the way to go if you want an easier way to count than pen and paper and don't want to spend the money on a new model of PV.

I don't really mind getting a new setup. The only problem is trying to figure out what to get; so many choices. It is even more difficult since I am in Kitchener, Canada so there are not any shops nearby that I can visit to ask questions and see for myself. The closest shop I have found so far is in Toronto.

Well, at least I have one part of my next new eCig figured out; defo going to get one that can use one of these batteries or something similar!

i do not recommend the ultimo vision. for simplicity yes. but for that price for a plastic box. i would say no. i used to own one. tried using it half a day and i gave up. resold it to another fellow vaper. reason is the draw is way too airy. and the feel and touch of it just reminds you of a toy...

however, it does have a vape counter, allows you to set the date time (nt sure y), its a 3 stage vv mod, allows you to slide in the vision clearo for hygiene.

Also, the skins u see on it are rubber textured vinyl if u r curious.

Of course you still hold the decision whether to buy it or not. Those were just my honest opinion.

p.s. the person i sold to has since sold it to another vaper. he dropped it once and it immediately opened up into couple of pieces. but hes good with his hands and soldered back everything to get it working again. (the above 2 person are not in ECF lol.)
