Annoying Cotton Taste long after rewicking (24+ hours after)

You can try the way that Rip Trippers do in the review video of Pharaoh. Prime your cotton wick and soft pulsing the coil.

I use that method a lot. I think it helps break the cotton in faster, but man I can only take rip in small doses.

I use muji. Quality, affordable pads. I Scottish roll my wicks. And I measure out the width I want. I adjust the width based upon taste. I do get that new cotton taste, but only with the first 5-10 hits.

Wrapping a coil is dead simple, wicking a coil is an art. The way you wick will vary with the coil and tank and even the juice you choose.

As to Rip's method the Pharaoh RTA, I have that tank and use a lot less cotton than he does. It's still more than typical, but I don't double fold the end and stuff it in with a wire loop. But if it works for you, keep going with it.

Careful if you use RIPs scottish wick method. You don't need to pull it all apart till you can see your hand through it. Makes the fibers to weak and you just compress it again afterwards anyways.
