I've heard that gurgling can mean the atty is flooded but I'm a n00b so idk. I'll see if i have any of that alcohol that sounds like a good idea....

Yea I thought so too but occasionally I will get a gurgle along with no taste at all. So it's a bit of a head scratcher.
