This is mainly a question about the Genji RTA btw. I am making this thread because, well, it may also apply to other people too. The airflow you see, on the Genji RTA, seems to be well how do I put it? Tremendous? Heard of the AIR FORCE ONE RDA? Well, this RTA seems like that, you know with MASSIVE AIRFLOW, although it doesn't look much bigger than the crowns airflow (a closer inspection seems to be a bit off here! but still no so much!) and I can take longer hits from the crown sub ohm tank fairly easy. So my question, that I have said I have to ask! Is, how do you, the public, take this fact? I, for one, must shut the airflow off only a smidgeon from 100% closed! That's saying something! I can open up the bottom airflow a smidgeon and the top airflow a smidgeon, but I have found that I cannot do much better than that. It's my only RTA I was really looking forward to it but now to me this is just annoying. So much so that I feel I need another ("better") RTA. Why do they make tanks like this? So that people with bigger lungs can take HUGE FREAKING HITS??? Well, it might just be a "vapers" thing, and with that, we move on to the "Inquiry~":

I have heard about breathing exercises for sub ohm vapers, who need to take bigger hits due to massive airflows. Does this in any way apply to the Genji RTA's massive airflow? Is it possible I could actually hit the maximum with this tank with some of these exercise? Do you guys have any links to where we can read up on that or try it ourselves?

Also my question is simply why did they do it (or is mine just messed up like a LOT!), you know, make the airflow so "unvapable." I may be on to something here with my little "inquiry", and so I would appericiate some feedback.

Call me a troll if you like, but I don't see how such an important question could ever be "trollish." IMO people that need to learn what the term "fanboys" mean need to learn a lesson about using the word "troll." This goes for a lot of people here.

Sorry for scaring you off, but thanks,

You know wat I didn't think about that at all and I was like super worried too. haha. So, I thought it was the other way around though? I guess that should make some kind of common sense though. It is the Clapton coils that the Genji came with. They read out to be .58 or .60 ohms all the time on my Sigelei Fuchai. I honestly don't appericiate a bare minimum vape, and am glad this is the case. It actually vapes (dual Clapton coils) pretty well, but you can still tell it is a higher ohm build. The coils are pretty small but for claptons that says a lot. Like I said, I'm vaping it at 32 watts (did I say that?). 35 watts gets me burnt/dry hits. Which upset me a bit. I believe I wicked it fine. It may not have enough cotton either is another thing. So, I thought about fixing that, but I ain't one to spend an hour here or there on "fixing cotton", I know that sounds stingey.

So is it typically like that with most different setups? I am also aware that on something like an EVOD glass or an Aerotank, you get ridiculiously tiny airflow, does that (clearly) have something to do with why you can't take bigger hits with smaller coils? I suppose it would make sense if it does.

Vaporesso. Btw it is exactly like the griffen, but even rip trippers said it is a bit of a step up above the griffin. So I was so happy to have been one of the people who didn't get the griffin first :D. Because this thing has tons of options, including the same top airflow that the Herakles Plus has. And let me tell you something that top airflow rocks, it's like getting heat sink fins to fit on bottom airflow lol.

Try turning off the top airflow. You will get better flsvor without thr top airflow.

About thr only thing top airflow is good for is cooling down a too warm vape.

For me it's really hard to understand your question when your refering to a RTA called the Genji, when it's a gemini your talking about, BUT ..... not sure if your aware that geek vape answered back
Geek Vape Griffin RTA Top Airflow Set - Origin Vape Why massive airflow ? for massive 3mm low gauge, low ohm, high wattage builds
Have you tried building simple kanthal .8 micro coils and close off the top airflow ( which doesn't sound like you even need ) and turn down the watts, actually the first griffin or better yet the crown tank would be better suited toward someone like you and most likely you wouldn't have to do breathing exercises
Too much cotton will wick slower causing dry hits, to little and it starts to leak, it's tricky learning how much cotton to use but once you master your technic "fixing cotton" it makes it all worth it ..............

Sounds more like advertising than a Question.

Google cannot find Genji RTA so IF you mean Gemini, you should say so.

I Have Top air flow:
Hint - only use it if you are desperate for Blowing Massive Clouds with an overly Hot Setup.
Top Air Flow injects Cool unflavored air to protect the lips and throat. It also Strips Flavor from the Vape by dilution.

Personal opinion - Top Air Flow is not for anyone searching a Flavor experience.:2c:

Yea... I'm writing this on my cell phone so...

So... For u guys that apparently missed this, plz, try to broaden ur horizons? The type of top airflow in the Herakles Plus n the Gemini RTA is new to top airflow designs- all of them. This kind of airflow does NOT hinder the quality of Vape, as opposed to the typical mouthpiece airflows. Just watch YouTube vids on the herakles plus (not Ruby roos, she, like u, are n the dark!) or Gemini. They say it is a new, yes, 100% innovative design. N from exp it works better than the normal base airflow. Sadly on my Gemini I get so much air I'd never need additional but even then, it still seems to even add some great flavor to the hits.

Hi mate...
It's not NEW... we have been slipstreaming for years. It is just a new wishtle/bell.
Try it. Close the top air and let some extra air enter between you lips and the MP when you pull.

Cheers

PS I made a .14 ohm dual coil build n I can open her up a bit but not quite enough still, to cause satisfaction. So any breathing exercises? Maybe we the public should keep Google in mind more of ten. Its just so overrated now they took out some of their better search options :D

Your not really getting the point or maybe I'm not, your problem to me was you had to much airflow and burnt hits, so your solution is to re build with a 122w build and leave the airflow wide open ? I could only imagine it took care of your to thick of wick "fixing cotton" problem, you don't need breathing exercises, you need an RTA with smaller airflow slots that are suited for higher ohm builds / lower wattage, Why would you think you need the biggest / baddest RTA (top airflow) out to enjoy tootle puffing ?

Sorry, but you do not understand top air flow. Their (INOVATION was to move it into the Cap. 1 flight down please.
Still introducing Regular air into the equation Diluting Flavor.
The ONLY way a Top Air flow would work, Flavor Positive, is to Route air through the heated coil to deliver full flavored vapor - Defeating the purpose for Top Air Flow.
