How many hands does this require, 3 or 4 perhaps? And you also need another hand pushing on the USB plug to keep a connection while during this of course. :(
2 hands, the - and + keys can both be depressed by one thumb easily. Finger on second hand used to push and hold the fire button for 3 seconds. USB cable should not be plugged in during reset.

Given they have first hand knowledge of the device they maybe able to assist. And if not, they can certainly direct you on how to RMA the device.
I bought it from a very popular chinese site that works with independent stores/sellers, a bit like ebay, i gess. I know it's not very smart but this things are much more expensive in my country. Most of this devices are made there anyways and although it's an official geekvape product (i've verefied the code), i don't think it's an official geekvape seller, so prbably they can't do nothing about returns. I'm opening a dispute on the site i've bought it and hope the seller can give me an option. I've read that the site has a good service if the buyer and seller don't reach an agreement.

I have exactly the same problem at the moment. Any news from your mod?
For what i've searched this is a fairly common problem with this mod, many people complaining it dies after the firmware update. My mod arrived 3 days ago and I was happy with it, it is very well assembled and tough. Yesterday I remembered to update the firmware, all went well until it simply did not turned on any more after that. I changed batteries, turned it to the power and it just does not give a signal. When I press the - /+ button no information appears but when I connect via USB it is recognized.
Help me please!

Sorry for the problem. Please try the firmware update again. If you still have the problem, please contact support@geekvape.com

When I needed a firmware version for my first Legend that would run on a Mac, I emailed customer service at Geekvape and in less than 24 hours they sent me a Mac version. They are responsive to requests for support.

The Mac version for 1.2-0710 is now included on their website. Just thought I'd throw that out there before 100 Mac users email me for a copy.

I have 2 Legends and have updated both, can't remember for sure but I think I only installed the V1.2-0710 update.

After you reset yours what version does it show as being installed?
What do you mean after i reset? It doesn't show any information, no matter what i do. I updated it, it died immediately and never came back to life, that simple.

Try the reset again, make sure batteries are in and the legend is off. USB cable unplugged

1) Put the batteries in and turn the Legend off
2) Press – and + together alone until the Firmware version appears on the screen.
3) Then with while still holding – and + and with the firmware version displayed, press and hold the fire button.
The screen will then show “Configuration Reset”
4) Reinstall V1.2-0710 only.

I never got mine to work during the update. Probably a good thing since some has ended up with a bricked mod. My 3 Aegis 100W was a PIA since I too had to hold the USB really tight to get the update to take. But all updates were worse with TC than the original firmware. I used my 2 Legends for about a week back in May and I got tired of it burning my wicks under TC (they are now living on the shelf). I love the mod, hate the board and firmware. :(

Trying to understand why you purchased 5 Geekvape Aegis/Legends if the board and firmware are so bad?

My first attempt to update my first Legend was very frustrating. Turned out to be a conflict on my computer. Once I recognized that update was smooth. When it was time to update the second one I began by going into my computer's device manager and clearing the conflict with the usb port before attempting the update.

You got to be kidding me! Buy a Legend, then buy a Mac (how much is that [3 times more than it is worth no doubt]?) and then contact Geek Vape for Mac software?

Thank you for your help but there's something you didnt't understood. When i insert the batteries the mod does not turn on, no matter what i do it doesn't turn on or show any information on the screen.

Well the original Aegis 100W worked quite well and the GBOX 200W worked perfectly. While the GBOX is upgradeable, no upgrades ever came out. Why, it works perfectly. The Aegis 100W turned worse with endless upgrades and the Legend was bad since day one. What happened? Somebody got fired or laid off or something?

I have used Macs for years, gave up M$ in 2009. Current Mac is from 2011. Mac cost more upfront but considering you don't have to keep rebuying them cost of ownership is by far less than a PC.

Wanted to use my personal Mac to update my Legend. I was hesitant to download the firmware on to company PC laptop. I ended up using the PC to do the update. I didn't buy a Mac to update my Legend or suggest anyone else should.

Yeah, i don't know. What really got me into this mod is how weel it is finishd and assembled, being also very attractive, it feels like it could last a lifetime. I had no idea it had so many people camplaining about this issues, i'm disapointed,
