You will be diluting the flavor no matter what, but PG is better for flavor perception. VG will dull flavors. Just get the closest ratio to what you are already vaping. If your Mom prefers 70pg/30vg, then get 75/25. If she prefers 50/50, then get 50/50. And so on....

As a side note, if you were only able to find the nic in 100% PG and 100% VG, you could always make up your own PG/VG ratio by buying both and combining percentages of the two...

use an ejuice calculator ... say you are splitting a 30ml bottle of 6mg and you want to up half to approx 12mg

input 16ml as your amount to create
input target nic level as 6
select base as 100mg/ml

results = 15.04 starting juice ... and .96ml of 100mg

so adding 1ml of 100mg to half the bottle should do it :2cool:

Um, thats not really a good way to go about it, as you are already guessing that you will need 1ml of 100% nic (15ml is half of 30 ml bottle + 1ml = 16ml as amount to create). You may come up with the right answer eventually, but may have to plug in various starting amounts to get the nic level you are looking for.
The formula I posted gives you the exact amount to add, first time, every time.

Sorry, folks, but I had to edit my formula post, as the example had an error in it. The formula is correct, but I used the wrong amount for nic desired when calculating the example. It has been editted with the correct values. As you can see in Caridwen's quote of that post, I had used 6mg instead of 16mg as the Nd value in the denominator.

My apologies to all for any confusion...

100mg is the easiest to ratio out.
I am going to preface the rest with a warning/disclaimer.
100mg nic is very dangerous to work with.
Don't get lazy or complacent.
Never mix juice if you are im a hurry.
Mix your juice in an environment free of distractions.
If your phone rings and you are moving fluids, just let it ring.
You can call the person back.
But you can't undo putting your phone to your face with nic fluid on your hand.
Do everything slowly. No fast movements. You don't wanna fling 100mg nic around.
Wear gloves and eye protection. Long sleeves are good too.
I keep an emergency saline eye wash near my mixing station.
If you get juice on yourself, wash it off immediately.
Ok, now that's out of the way.....
So easy, it's one of the reasons I use it.
I never use an ejuice calculator.
I've never tried to up the nic level, but find my ratios very to use when mixing juice from scratch.
This will get you right in the ballpark.........
Example, if you are using 20ml bottles, and are going to use 6mg fluid as your base, you add 2ml of 100mg to the bottle, and 18ml of your pre mixed juice.
That'll get you 16mg juice.
Just remember, it's really easy to divide by 100.
If you have a 60ml bottle, add 6ml of 100mg nic, and 54ml of your 6mg juice. That gets you 16mg.
10ml bottle you would add 1ml and 9ml of the premix.
