So I was kind of in a rush this morning and totally forgot to prime the coil before putting it in.. I took a couple drags off of it and it tasted slightly dry but nothing too burnt.. I can't take the thing apart and prime it now because its soaked in E-juice now.. My thinking was just to let it sit for a while so it has time to soak in as much juice as possible so I don't ruin the coil.. Any other thoughts? I didn't prime the Tri-coil either becuase it came in there and totally forgot to as well.. Didn't have an issue with that except for the first couple of hits. Then the thing worked like a champ. It ohms out to .17.. suppose to be .15 and my IPV3 LI is usually .02 ahead so it's reading it perfectly. Any other suggestions? Or you think I should just let it sit for a while until it gets adequately soaked. I'm also going to start at a very low wattage to be careful not too burn... start out at about 20, then slowly work up to 80+.

No need to prime the TFV4 coils, letting them sit for 5-10 minutes will do the trick it seems. I usually let them more around 20 because I just forget about the time and let it sit there while I do some other things. For wattage, you probably won't get much, if anything at 20. You could start at 50 if you want, but I think most start at 70 and go up to their prefer wattage after a couple of hits. I've forgotten and fired it right at 110w on a fresh coil after about 15 mins, I just go oops and keep vaping. After the coil breaks in and the new coil flavor is gone, no problems, coil is fine.

Whenever you replace it, don't bother priming it at all, just fill it up and let it sit for 10 or so minutes. Starting at around20w under what you'd normally vape it would probably be a good idea and go up after a few hits. I took a hit on a dry tank by mistake, tasted the slightly burnt hit, and after a couple of tanks I only get the taste on a rare occasion. BTW, you can vape the tank fully dry, to the point that when you tilt it there's no juice coming down the side. I do it all the time to change juice. Good luck.

Thanks for the reassurance fellas! Are you guys loving this tank as much as I am? My only complaint is when I took the thing apart the white O-ring on the bottom of the glass seems a bit flimsy but when I put it back together it seemed to go in fine. I'm absolutely in love with this tank. Gives me an almost RDA like experience, by far the closest a tank has come to it. I actually will prefer it over my RDA sometimes/

I love mine, but I like my Crown just a touch more. Crown in my opinion is easier to fill, but otherwise they are pretty darn close to the same vape. My last quad coil in the TFV4 lasted me 4 weeks adn 2 days. I never prime them. I assemble the tank fill it and let it sit for about 15 mins. couple puffs with out firing it and then I start vaping it at 30 watts and slowly ramp up to where i like it, around 85-100 watts depending on the juice Im using at the time.
