I love Drapes Vapes Alchemist. It's got a great anise flavor that is close to absinthe. I have tried other supposedly absinthe vapes that didn't stack up. Has anyone tried an absinthe vape that is actually as good as Alchemist. A good absinthe to me has a good anise flavor balanced with some earthiness (herbs), and I would like to try one that has close to that balance. Thanks

I have not tried Alchemist, but I really enjoy Teleos Nightfall. I buy it from Giant Vapes.
I have yet to find a ejuice that can emulate the essence of absinthe. I assume that if there's a quality Absinthe ejuice, that it would come from a ejuice vendor from somewhere in Europe. Who knows? I just think that the BEST Absinthe ejuice would come from an area, in which Absinthe is consumed on a regular basis.

You may like "Absolute Pin" by Five Pawns. It's a complex liquid with a strong absinthe flavor - too strong to my taste - but I seem to be in the minority.
Thanks I will try Nightfall. Hopefully it will be good. I have been to Europe on many occasions and finding good absinthe there is hard to do as well. There is a shop in Paris that was great but overall the selection wasn't any better than here. I guess absinthe isn't really that popular there either. Although the best absinthes are distilled in Europe. I just buy them online and have them shipped here. I had heard that about absolute pin so I have to try that out. I do love some five pawns. Have you tried Blue Fairy from Ahlusion?
The description, from their website: "Our Blue Fairy is often imitated, yet never duplicated! This is our take on an all natural Absinthe. A perfect brew of the finest distilled wines aged with wormwood, hyssop and anise to bring you what we call one of our master pieces; a must vape!"
I personally have not tried this juice, but am overall a huge fan of Ahlusion for their purity, clarity and spot-on flavors.

I ordered two 30ml bottles of the blue fairy, one shipwreck, and one strawberry cake one. They had a sale so I figured I would go ahead and stock up. It was only 50 for 4 bottles, which is a good price. I just hope the juice is good.

I can't vape cakes, but any of the fruit creams are all very well received!
If you like the Strawberry Cake (Shortcake or Vanilla Cake?), you may want to try the Lemon Vanilla Cake.

Thanks EleanorR!!! I didn't know that about the same. I wish I had because I got the blue fairy that was custom. It would have been nice to get the 10ml sampler. I got the strawberry vanilla cake. I love strawberries and whether it tastes like strawberry candy, fresh strawberries, or strawberry quick, it's all good to me. I appreciate your help and I can't wait to vape it. Steeping recommendations?

I apologize -- I should have mentioned it in my original post. You are too quick on the draw!
Wlad (the Ahlusion liquid genius) recommends that, as soon as you receive your bottles, remove the shrink wrap and take the cap off for just a minute or so. Then re-cap, shake well, and allow the liquid to steep in a cool, dark place for 3-7 days. Taste; if not quite to your liking, then allow it to steep an additional 10-14 days.
Most of us Ahlusion fans like the juices FOOB but find they really begin to shine at 2-3 weeks' steep.
