As some of you may know last Thursday ,the 21st ,was my 54th birthday ; celebrated by the usual family festivities but even better I got to share it with my only close remaining family,my sister ,who came down with her husband for a very short visit.Unfortunatly the day before they arrived I suffered another Menieres episode that lasted off and on till yesterday. Thanks to the good Lord I avoided a trip to the E.R. but I also found what seems to be one of the causes for these episodes so I will be seeing a specialist in September .I have also been searching for another place to live since the beginning of the month as the owner needs to sell his propertys and so I must be "vacated" by the last day of August.Put in another way I like so many others for so many different reasons have a sky-high stress level which only adds to the physical problems.I am sorry I am running on I am still a bit dizzy and my thinking gets cloudy after these episodes.I just wanted to let you all know that though I will try to read up on the forum as much as I can , I may not be able to reply as soon as I would normally. I will be thinking of you all and as always each of you are in my heart and in my prayers! As I said this is NOT goodbye only an LOA while things get dealt with and settled so God bless each one of you (((Big PIF Hug!!!))) and I thank you all!......gramakittycat..........{ P.S. before there are questions I will at some point in the near future be putting up a few items in the classifieds,sort of an on-line moving sale BUT this will be done by my daughter under my supervision for mailing and such . Moving suxs in SO many ways!!! thank you again!}
Awwww gramakittycat (((hug))) be well in the interim.....my mom had meniere's....she had the surgery to destroy her hearing in that ear as she had become housebound by the episodes.

Gramakittycat, I have Meniere's too but thankfully have not had an episode in years. I'm so sorry it's had such an impact on your life. Hang in there through the trials, m'dear.
