What fun. Salutations, Tropical Bob!

OK. I did some digging around, and, yes, I did have one Camel Frost Snus left. No VG around, so I soaked the Snu (singular of Snus?) in some handy 48 mg unflavored (that I happened to have around) until the Snu blackened. Then I rolled it and crammed it into an 801 atty that I've already gotten my money's worth from. I put a couple more drops atop the Snu, and then attached it to 3.7 volt Prodigy.

Waa-hoo. Yikes! It's vape-able, but only marginally so. There's the tiniest suggestion of mint in there, but if anybody thinks they've never experienced a throat hit, I have just the concoction for them!

I plan to experiment with this some more, but I don't know that I'll be interested in vaping Snus or if I'd rather use them to recover nicotine to make juice.

Anyway, the really great thing about this is that you've proven that we can get some amount of nicotine from Snus and all it takes is VG or PG.

Very cool, sir. Thank you.

That's been my experience. But I admit I don't use as much normal e-liquid daily as some folks. I use 1ml to 2ml per day when not trying something like the snus experiment. I let a single snus soak up the liquid -- takes about 30 minutes to be saturated unless you flip it over like a cooking hamburger! I just put one in a spoon of VG and leave it for a half-hour or so.

And I have "refilled" a drying snus. I'm waiting on some snus orders now but will soon try some powerful mini snus, along with soaking one in pure Kahlua flavor. See what I get ...

Look forward to your report, BigJim, on how this works for the cigar and pipe. It should be even better.

After reading about the snu, and the tobacco soaking, for vaping, I got to wonder. Has anyone tried vaping tobacco with a herbal inhaler? I have been considering it. You get a chopper with the inhaler, cut up the tobacco, and put it in a glass holder connected to the mouthpiece by a plastic hose. It is heated by a ceramic heater and when it reaches the ideal tempit releases the tobacco vapor.
