i just ordered an evic....
i am currently using a vamo which serves me well,
why would some buy and expensive pv and want to drop it?
then nobody will buy samsung phone as it is not drop proof.....
just my opinion....

Its not that they WANT to drop it, its that it WILL get dropped at some point for most people. About ten minutes ago, I was turning around cause my son was yelling for me and when I did my hand with my Provari in it hit him in the head, throwing my provari about 6 feet before it smashed into the tiled floor.... i just picked it back up, and kept vaping like normal.... this thing is BULLET PROOF!

BTW, I wanted to let the OP know that I have a blem model v2 mini from their clearance section. There is not a damn thing noticeably wrong with it. From what I understand, the QC people at Provape have EXTREMELY high standards, my model, the logo on it is a teeny tiny bit lighter in color then the one at my local vape shop thats on display. THATS IT!

Best bang for the buck? That's easy and it's neither one! In *my opinion* you should consider this: VAMO Variable Volt/Watt APV V2

While I like gee whiz features I am shying away from the eVic due to mixed opinions on their reliability, durability, etc. The Provari is nice and is claimed to be much more durable but bang for the buck? Not a prothingy!

Yup vamo. I was thinking about getting a provari but came across this and decided to try it to see if i would like a vv mod and then grab a provari if I did. That was about two months ago and I have no intention of getting a provari in the near future because I'm so happy with the vamo :)

Go with your heart my son.. LOL But really. Actually my favorite device right now is my bolt with an extra extension running a kick with an 18650 battery.
Th Provari is nice, but I like the V W much better. The Vamo is Nice but it doesnt lock the settings buttons. The zmax is nice but it has a single button setting menu (kind of a hassle). The Evic is nice and I can buy different bodies and color tubes for it. You CAN get an Evic brand new from a USA vendor for $62.00 shipped as long as you have the battery and charger already.
There, did that help you any? Hahahahahahaha
Just buy something, you're going to end up with all of them sooner or later anyways, cause its the only way to know for sure right?
I love being able to switch up my mods like on a daily basis anyhow.

I know several people with Provari's and they like them a lot. The are very good units and apparently very sturdy from the other stories. I'm. Sure they wouldn't be as popular as they are if they were junk. You should really take look at the Legacy though. Cash at puresmoker.com is a really good guy and the Legacy is rock solid. Probably the best mechanical mod on the market and the price makes it real affordable. Plus you will have a mod that everyone else isn't carrying around. Lot's of Provari's out there.

I have a provari and 2 of my friends have provaris too. Not sure where you heard they were complicated but they aren't you get used to the one button interface and what everything does in the first day or two. I got used to the weight of it very quickly as well. At first it was quite heavy but after about a week of use it feels totally natural.

Provari is simply the best - made in the USA, high quality, better vape than any other device I have tried by far. If you settle for something else now because of the price, you are always going to have that urge to get a provari until you eventually do, so you might as well not waste your time and money on anything else and go all in on a provari.

Yup, you sure aren't a "new member"! :D

Let's not forget the iTaste SVD, the Tesla, Anyvape CVI, the new VAMO V3, etc.!!!

Where can I find an Evic for $62 shipped from the US?

I'm a 76-day newb. I keep my Provari on a passthrough right beside my chair. It is the boss. And if they go to vv/vw I will be first in line. But if you think they are expensive in the US, try Canada. A single supplier and a $220 pricetag!
But the Sigelei Z-max has replaced it. If I loved the Provari, I really LOVE the Z. Fits my hand like it was tailor made. I don't need the extensions, an 18650 will keep me vaping for 3 days.
The Vamo is an excellent low-price option, but anything that keeps you off the analogs is just right for you. IMHO

If i'm anything to go by, go buy (?) a Provari. I started with a papershop e cig then went Ego, Ego Twist, Vamo and finally bought the fabled Provari Mini. As with alot of people i spent a vast amount of money, only to end up with the flagship. Its been a great journey and a fast learning curve - enjoyed every minute.

The main thing is:- I stopped smoking on February the 1st and apart from technically wasting alot of money, i do feel a hell of alot better.

Do it your way and be healthier for it..... oooer 69th post (my favourite number :p).

Is there a yearly membership fee to be in the Provari Fan Club;)Now if they clould just get Justin Bieber to be their spokesman they could get all the 14 year old girls to buy Provari's too:p

I bought a Provari and haven't purchased anything since (except a 2nd one). I really wish I would have made it my first device. I would have saved a pant load of money. I don't agree about the Vamo being sturdy. Mine didn't last more than a couple of months and I took pretty good care of it. One drop and it was OV. It stopped working correctly and it wasn't that bad of a drop.

I agree. I know someone with an evic and I don't know if I'd compare the two. Different price points out them in different categories all together. But op didn't mention price. I bought my first mod used, for cheap, then went straight to the provari. I'm happy I did. Fanboy? Maybe. But I don't care. I love the provari.

If you don't care about size, go for the VAMO and stack the batts. This thing has been a beast for me. Running a VAMO with stacked 350s is just as strong as a provari, but over half the price ;) I have had mine for about 4 months now and it still works great! I have dropped it multiple times also. HOWEVER! my threads have gone out due to be using just a carto with it a few times and the carto bent(so i had to bend it back to unscrew it, which messed up my threads) If you do get a vamo, get an 510-510, or 510-ego adapter. I have been hearing a lot of people hate on the quality of the Vamo, which I'm a bit confused because mine has been nothing but reliable these last 4 months(maybe a china quality control issue?) Either way, all 3 is a definite upgrade and you will be happy with any of the 3 choices. (provaris will obviously hold their resale value better than an evic or vamo though)
