OK. I am ready to order my tornado. I dont think I am ready to spend 100+ on a mod to do high voltage, I thought i would try this out to simulate higher voltage (as I have a bunch of 510 stuff anyway). I am ordering 2 batts, 2 low resistance attys, 1cone, and possibly drip tips (nhaler). I have been curious about 510 cartos. Knowing that cartos have the atty built in... is there such a thing as a low resistance 510 carto?

Haven't seen any low resistance 510 cartos but if you want to try higher voltage use a passthrough. I was going to order a Tornado but I decided I don't need one. I have a VaporKing and a Joye 510. A 510 battery last me all day at work. When I get home I either use my VK or just put a new battery on the 510. I see posts where people need a battery that will last for six hours of continual vaping at work. Methinks maybe they need to do less vaping and more working.

I love my tornado! One batt lasts me 2 days. And I hit it fairly steady throughout the day. I wouldn't order the drip tips. I just take a stock 510 cart and drill it out. Then I trim off the bottom where the vents start. so it's a little over an 1/8" that actually fits into the atty when I'm finished modding it. Works great. Much cheaper than drip tips. I don't think a high voltage carto exists, but don't quote me. I wouldn't use a carto personally, I prefer to drip. Hope this helps a little.

As to the question about LR Cartos, from what I read on Vapor4Life's website, their Premium Cartos have a lower resistance to provide more vapor. I have used both the Premium and the regular and there is a noticeable difference in the vapor production.

As for the tornado, from a cost effectiveness perspective, if you are looking at it for the longer battery life without adding much size to what you carry around, then consider building a box mod. It is pretty cheap to build and pretty cheap to maintain. Including 2 14500 batteries and the charger I spent around $30 to build it. Should a battery ever croak on me, they cost about $5 to replace. Honestly the 14500 batteries will likely last longer than the Tornado ones as well given the higher mAh rating on the 14500s. On the other hand, if you are looking for simplicity, go with the tornado or a Joye/Janty Stick with 510 adapter as its prebuilt.

Just my $0.02

I have the eGo which is the same as the tornado and I love Love LOVE it! I have the Stainless Steel T-Tip (regular and shorty) and it is awesome and I'm in love with these tips too!!! I am working on ordering some LR atty's as we speak and can't wait to give that a go with all the rave reviews :) I'd say go for it!

Just want to chime in and say that is not the norm, or you work really short shifts or don't vape that much. I don't want the OP going out and getting a 510 kit and wonder why his batt's are only lasting 2-3 hours. My Tornado batt lasts on average 8 - 11 hours even when I go through nic-fits where I won't put it down for 15 - 20 minutes, sometimes only taking a real breath of fresh air every 7 or 8 hits.

This.

My friend's 510 batts lasts barely 3 hours with casual vaping sessions.

My tornado on the other hand, last almost 8 hours. And I chain vape a lot.
