Hard to find anything cheaper that works better, right? I did a cost analysis on my last batch of juice, and it cost me right around $17 to make a quart of liquid... counting the mason jar! That's 32 30mL bottles... even the cheap juice I used to buy was $10 a bottle... so $17 for $320 worth of juice at the low end of the comparison. I think I've paid as much as $30 per bottle before... smh... never again!
so much this... cannot bring m'self to buy juice given the markups... and with the diy community and availability of recipes... finally nailed down a decent butterscotch, thanks to another forum member and it looks like cuttwood's unicorn milk recipe got leaked to the internet a couple weeks back...

I'm going to be flying into New Orleans in November to then drive to MS for a wedding. I'm looking forward to an Oyster Po' Boy and maybe even a stop at Cafe Du Monde.

Most certainly some crawfish
nice! i will be driving down there the sunday after turkey day to open a new cafe in Harvey (west bank of new orleans)... i need to hit katie's in mid city - best cochon de lait (cajun smoked pulled pork) and bbq shrimp sammich i have had... sounds like a crazy combo, but it works!

bbq shrimp sandwich? yeah I think all the capsaicin burned out some of your neuron gaps long ago :w00t:
I never tried any food from there. I hear there are plenty of good dishes that way though.

yeah I have many damaged myself lol --- All joking aside that Southern food is probably really good.

It's the best there is... trust me, I've eaten good meals all around the world. True French country is a close second (best rabbit stew I ever had was in a small town in France!) Seems to me that country food is the best food... I'll pass on all the new-fangled 'Metro' and 'Fusion' foods. But there's nothing I like more than good Southern cooking... and Louisiana has some of the best around!

All kidding aside, the switch on my Chi You is really getting funky. Any of those Cajun sauces hot enough to work on Brass?????

You could try Tabasco... there's enough vinegar in there that it just might cut through it. Other than that, maybe just try some lemon juice...

Even found a link for ya, TJ!

@lanye, Thanks for starting a hilarious thread , I hope you are vaping happily now :hubba: without any of the devil's flarts...and thanks to all the ECF'ers for jumping in with help.
pro question for you - No - not the nursing part (full body cast - shivers), the pro photog part, sorta like "how does a hairdresser cut their hair ?" did you photograph a mirror for your (reversed?) avatar pic or did you enlist some extra help ?

I actually had another person take the shot. A lot of times when I do headshots I find the location (ie the light) that I like, let the other person stand/sit in that spot so I can meter and set the camera settings, then hand them the camera and have them take the actual photo.

Yes, I'm vaping happily now! I've been a bit MIA because September/October are crazy weddings months.
