901 Cartridge Condoms

Ordered some extra cartridges for my platinum 901 and they come with little "condoms" on the end...

When cleaning, refilling, etc... Do I need to keep using these??

I definitely would steer clear of using them as condoms! Are you referring to the little rubbery ends or the plastic? My classic carts all come with the little rubbery "condoms" in the end of the caps and often stick in the plastic covering making it hard to get the plastic cap back on. However, I eventually get them out and stick them back on the carts for storage.

yes the plastic piece is used to help keep cart moist other then that it is useless unless you need to store them in the cap
