I'm sorry if this doesn't belong here. But I just wanted to share this so others might not suffer the same BS I did/am.

So a few months ago I found 8 Vape at the recommendation of a friend. And at first it was great. Their prices are basically the best you can find online. Had a few orders go off without a hitch and then the BS started.

Without getting into specifics, I ordered a tank from them. Got it on time and went to use it and it was DOA. Would not read on any mod I had. So I went to their site and filled out a help request. Few days go by and I hear nothing. Few more, nothing. So I call and the person I talk to can't find the case. So I tell them what's wrong with it and they tell me they can't take it back. So of course I'm angry but say whatever. So a friend offered to buy it from me for like half of what I paid for the parts.

So then I ordered a couple bottles of juice, both 6mg. The one they sent was 0mg. So I figured I would just call. So the guy says he will email me a RMA and to send it back so I did. This is almost a month ago now and I still haven't gotten my juice. I called them and they said the case was still open for some reason and to give it some more time. So yeah. Not cool.

And now the big one. So I can't prove this, but it stands to reason. A week or so ago I placed a $75 order against my better judgement because what I wanted was on sale. So I got the order no problem. But I used my Paypal debit card to place the order, which I rarely use this card, and a couple days later I see someone has made fraudulent charges over $200 on my card.

So I called Paypal and had them cancel my card and they weren't able to tell me where the charges came from but that was the first time I had used that card in over a month. I asked if it could have been someone stealing it from 8 vape and they said it was a good possibility.

So I am done with 8 vape. Great prices, ....ty service and most likely run by thieves.

Just wanted to give you guys this little PSA. I'd rather pay more for better customer service and security.

I've placed orders with them for going on 2 years now, and have never had any problems. I wonder if they have some new employees or something? Your 3 problems with them in a fairly short time seems to indicate something has/may have changed. IIRC, the main guy there, or the owner, is John. I'd call and ask to speak with him directly.

About your card being compromised though, I recently got a letter from my CC company telling me they were sending me a new card because of "a potential database breech" a company I've dealt with in the past may have had. My card wasn't compromised at all, but they sent a new one anyway to be safer. The only company I'd used that card with, within 4 months, was a different vape website...not Eight Vape. So, it is possible your card was compromised elsewhere and/or earlier, but was just recently used for the fraudulent purchase.

Yeah, the card thing could be completely separate from Eight Vape but being the only place I used it makes it suspect. But I can't say for sure. But at the same time I'd rather err on the side of caution and not buy from them anymore. Which is unfortunate because I never had any issues before all this.

Maybe there are different people working there. I will call and ask for John tomorrow and see what's going on.

I really just want my juice that they were supposed to send back to me at this point.

I also want to order the Vaporesso Polar when it's in stock but I think I'm gonna go with Element Vape since they have it now. Or possibly ebay.

Anyone online could have somehow gotten your paypal card info, even on a secure site. I order from 8vape all the time, and no issues. I hope you find another good vape supply site. Best of luck.

Out of those 2, I'd recommend Element Vape over eBay. There are a lot of fakes, refurbished but not specified as refurbished, etc. sold on eBay, especially in vape gear. Just my 2 cents though.

They have had their share of problems. In all fairness, it may not be them but I can see being irritated coupled with the lack of service and errors. Las Vegas has a huge credit card fraud problem - more so than many other cities. I attended a conference on the East Coast about fraud and the numbers that were given for Las Vegas were just astounding. The police do not even bother unless it is over 10 grand. Years back I visited a restaurant in one of the casinos a major chain and they had a rogue employee swiping credit card numbers. Fortunately for me, I was near my limit but there were erroneous charges.

Facebook has some pretty negative recent negative comments

EightVape

8 vape has been accused of some stuff in the past.

Seems like it is a craps shoot with them - you never know what you will get.,

EightVape - Westside - Las Vegas, NV

Seems to be luck of the draw. I have ordered quite a bit from them and have had fast shipping, and good products. That's not to say that others haven't had some issues, could happen on my next order for all I know.

I had some issues with eightvaope not going to go into the whole story but their CS (if you have issues) was incredibly unprofessional and rude. I was surprised because a lot of folks seem to like them and yes prices are good. But I don't need that kind of headache in my life honestly and Fasttech prices are also good and they're way more professional if you ask me. When I need something fast, though, they are not a vendor I would use again. Etc.

Strange... I have had no issues with them till now. Their prices are the best. But i guess after sales service is not very good. But from what I know... most of the vaping sites i have been using, none of them support Paypal to begin with. Or is it like a real card provided by Paypal?

I guess I'm lucky I've never had a problem with eight vapes and I've ordered a few times from them. Guess it only takes one bad experience.

It's a separate card provided by PayPal. Credit/debit card

I was thinking about using these guys but I won't be. Your not the first to have this happen. I hang out on the electronic cig subreddit, and just in the last month there's been over a handful of complaints with them. And the owner, or whoever, it is that posts on behalf of them has apparently hasn't made a post on over a week all of a sudden. Needless to say it was enough to shy me away from using them which is a shame because I heard good things.

They are a US company so there are some things that can be done (assuming you are also in the US). File complaints with the BBB, and/or take them to court. Small claims court can be fairly inexpensive. Sometimes just the threat of a lawsuit can make a company make a situation right, especially when the cost is less than going to court would be.

If they were a foreign company you would be completely SOL.

FYI Myvaporstore has the Polar Kit for $54.99. I buy from them a lot without any problems and quick shipping.

Sorry to hear about your problems with Eightvape. I've bought some things from them also without any problems. You really don't know what kind of a company you're dealing with until you have a problem. A good and honest company will take care of problems quickly. A shady or poorly run company...not so much.

I've taken both of those routes with some problems I've had before with 2 different US companies. One was in Deerfield Beach, FL (very lengthy complaint to BBB about them for breach of contract, false advertising, etc., that cost me $3,200). The other company was in my hometown (took to small claims court for damaging my car to the tune of $1,200). The outcome of my actions = 1) BBB didn't even lower the company's rating after receiving my lengthy, well-documented complaint proving the company's wrongdoings. Also wouldn't allow my complaint reasons to be seen on their website, so others could be aware of problems with the company...though they were definitely valid reasons according to their own BBB info. 2) I won a $1,200 judgement against the company in small claims court, but...that's it...I got a judgement, a legal document! Small Claims Courts can do nothing as far as seeing that you actually GET the money though. I never got a dime of it.

So, I don't think the OP would have much luck with either option, IMO.
