Well i always liked the idea of the Ego tank system but it was a horrible performer for me bad taste,no throat hit and poor flavor even with a Lr Ego tank atty.So i was looking around to pick up some atomizers for dripping and flavor testing and came across a new system. But my question is what is the difference between this and the Ego tank system. here is the 510-T atomizer kit i am speaking of
Matte black 510-T atomizer for Joye 510 electronic cigarettes

.I need some atomizers and the tank system is a good idea but i am so worried it be Fail like the Ego tank so what are you opinions

They are very similar in design and function to the ego-t, just packed into a tighter space.

Pluses,,, warmer vapor ,good taste and can use on 510 batts.

Minuses,,,, small tank (about .7ml) and the wick-plate doesn't come out for cleaning, at least I haven't been able to get it out yet.

Bottom line, IMHO, I use them when I don't want to have a giant ego kazoo looking thing, but around the house I still like an ego LR tank on my 18650 mod.

I just got a type B mega-tank today, haven't used it yet. So now I have a choice of small, medium and large tanks.

well i just got mine (510 t atty and tanks ) it seems to work great so far , been like two hours now of use . however it seems to be more suited for 510 users , or e109 type people . i use a ego t type a /b usually , and taking my usual draws i would on the ego , seem to heat this thing up quick . it does have amazing constant vapor . im not sure about flavor i just use tobacco flavor , but i didnt notice a change from ego to this except 510t is a little lighter on the draw . WOW it gets really hot , your not going to sit around and vap on this like your ego , but i could see a good application in running around or on the move if you just want a hit now and then . if your a 510 / mini user this would be great , as a ego user ,it would be a great back up .
it does work on the ego big batts ,but why would you want to do that besides the obvious (because you can )lolo
over all i like it , and if i dont blow it up in a day or so ill really like it . might be good for flavors you like to try from time to time ,but dont want to gunk up a big atty .

well it took about an hour off and on vaping to empty the tank , i put some watermelon in and it taste like watermelon .
like i said before if the atty dont blow up in the next day or so from being to hot i might just order another . definitely improves the whole 510 area , carto/cart deal . im not really a dripper so not sure about that ,but wouldn't see why it wouldn't work for dripping .

Okay, I received my 510-T Atty and tanks today.

Point 1: Quality
The flavor and the vapor are of the highest quality I have seen yet on any tank type system.
The Atty itself seem to be better built than the eGo-T atty as I have chainvaped this thing to death over the past 8 hours and not gotten one single burnt taste event.
Not as much condensation as with the eGo-T so very little mess when removing the tank to refill although there is still some wiping off needed.

Point 2: Usability
For someone like me who vapes a lot and chainvapes frequently this unit will require many refills.
Flavor Changers: You are going to love it! I have changed flavors over 6 refills without one cleaning or blow out of the atomizer and the flavor changes very easily without cleaning or blowing out the atty.
Longevity is once again an issue just because I have the 180 mAh original short 510 Kit. So recharges are necessary with constant use.
This atty does heat up pretty quick, but at the same time I have not encountered any ill effects from that happening, as previously stated no burnt taste which means the wicking in the spike works amazingly.

Point 3: Overall

Final comments are that for those who prefer a "Cigarette Like" stick this is definitely a great unit for you although I would recommend you get the mega battery for a longer charge. For tasters I would seriously recommend this unit as the flavor is very consistent and pure with every draw and for it's size it produces a huge amount of vapor. So a huge Thumbs Up to the designers of this unit and a HUGE Thank you to Vicki at Gignot for bringing it to us.

I got one of those 510-T kits for my wife from vaperstix (great discount by the way), she loves it. in three days she abandoned completely her ego-t for this new one.
I ordered yesterday a second kit so she can have more batteries and spare attys. I love my ego-t but I will give to the 510-T a try myself when the second kit arrives.

Okay all, 1 week and 1 day in to using my little baby vape tank :D I am thrilled to death, over 60 different flavor changes and not one cleaning or blowing out of the atomizer. And it is still performing amazingly!! Just got my second atty in yesterday and am currently vaping a wonderful 18 mg nic 70/30 PG/VG Espresso that is truly heavenly.

I just got my 510 T Tank and have used the Ego ones before with the same results. I get a very acrid taste coming through and after putting a few drips on the spike the taste was great but it wasn't long before the acrid burnt taste came back. I read that its good to suck on it a couple of times without power and this worked, but again only for a bit. I get exactly the same results with the Ego and have only had one that worked for ages until it packed in.
I'm going to stick with it for now to see if it just needs bedding in but so far I feel a little let down.

I don't know what to tell you. People either like it or dislike the tank system. I 'dinked around' with my 510-t for 3 weeks before I finally became fed up. Fortunately, I stumbled across this thread...

If and when you become fed up with your 510-t, you might consider giving the EMDCC a go. It's made me a happy vaper.
