I have a 510 kit from aquavaporcig.com, its ok I guess, but I found I really like the blu disposable ecigs. Im not trying to waste more money, a few weeks ago I wanted to try halo, so I bought halo cartomizers, and they werent compatible. Does anyone by chance know for a fact what cartomizers will be compatible with a 510 from aquavaporcig? theirs doesnt taste bad. its just blu tastes better in my opinion. any help is appreciated

You may also experience limited compatibility between brands of cartos. I could only use my V4L cartos with certain smoketip batteries even though they are both KR808.

One easy solution if your battery does not work with the brand of carto you bought (assuming they have the same thread): the round contact on the inside of your battery moves up or down slightly. If it isn't making contact, you can use needle nose plyers or something else that's small to GENTLY pull the contact out slightly so it touches the carto.

The contact doesn't look like it moves, but it does.

I don't trust Aquavaporcig's 510. For a while they called an RN4081 a 510 (different threadings)

As for compatibility - Blu has 510 threading but is NOT a 510. Blu is reverse electrical polarity from 510. A Blu's charger will fry a 510 and vice versa. Blu is an L88b.

But cartos don't care about electrical polarity. You can use any single coil 510-threaded cartos 2.5 to 3 ohms.

Thanks for pointing that out for OP. The above posts may have led OP and others to believe that the batteries were compatible with other brands as well (as far as chargers etc...). :)

That is exactly what I thought. This is all still very new to me, I have the aquavaporcigs pcc, the 510 ONE as they market it. So you're telling me I cannot order the cartomizers from Blu and just screw them on to my battery? Thats what I tried with Halo, but Halo had different threads as swedishfish clarified for me. i didnt know about the attachments so i just threw them out. What should I do, how do I know what will fit mine, or should I just buy blanks? how many drops do you put in if I buy blanks? thanks!

The cartos will work with any 510 unit. You cannot however change the batteries and chargers around. The different polarities of the batteries will ruin the chargers or the chargers will ruin the batteries.

The cartos don't care what the polarity is, they will work with any battery with matching thread.

To fill a cartomizer you can put up to 15 drops of liquid in them. Any more and it is likely that the juice will drip out. If you over fill and the juice gets into your battery, it will ruin the battery.

Blu cartos, vapeshot cartos, and volcano cartos will all work with your unit. (510 style).
