420mA with no cord

I am not sure whether this is the right forum - but I haven't found the right forum to post in while I am below 5 posts.

I am looking for either a 5 port multi-charger for ego batteries (420mA) OR 420+ mAH chargers without cord to use with a regular 4 port USB multi-chargers.

So far I have only seen pen chargers with 200mA or lower.

Those stubby no-cord USB to battery things often won't fit next to each other on multiport USB chargers. (won't on mine though I can fit one on the end port) You could always get short USB extender cables and add cables to the stubby adapters.

You do not need 420mah - you need 5 times 420mah or more (battery charger adapters only take the mA they need). I have a 2 amp (2000mA) charger that divides the 2000mA between the ports for 500mA (same as standard USB spec) at each if you attach 4 items.

So you are looking for 5 ports with about 500mA (standard) each = 2.5amps = 2500mA

This should work but you may need to add the USB extender cables fit your five on

And yes this has to be plugged in. There is nothing that can charge a bunch of Ego batteries without AC power.

Sorry that's not what you were asking for. But I have never even seen no-cord 420mA (Ego) battery to USB adapters - only cable ones. I was unsure if you already have stubby adapters.

dormouse - good points, thanks for pointing this out.

My 4-port USB charger has 2A (=2000mA) output combined, so that should be sufficient.
And yes, you're also right the chargers need to be quite slim in order to fit next to each other. That's probably too much to ask for.

ok. plan b then, as mentioned in my first post: ever seen a multi-charger for ego batteries (420mA)?

I really want to avoid to put a half-octopus-thingie on my desk.
