Just for continuity:

It's been 2 weeks now since I last heard from this so called customer service.

They asked me to check the shipping costs for return shipping on the 17th, which I emailed them back on the same day. I resend that email a week later just in case they missed the first one but no respond to that one either.

Making a video is Nonsense. You should be given an RA#. Return on your dime, if indeed defective, new product + shipping credit.
Why jump through hoops, it's going back anyways?
Make it as hard as can be, customer will cave..

Thank you for that. I almost started to believe it's just me that feels that way.

I had this happen on a 10usd dripper,, i caved. Yes, it bugged me but over is over.
Thankfully..

I really don't care about the money anymore at this point. I'm just too stubborn to let them get away with it so I'm gonna keep pestering them till they make it right.

I've only been at it for a month so far, I got some stamina left ;)

I'm gonna start sending them daily emails now. I do hope they get tired of me before I get to the point where I'll have to send them hourly emails though :rolleyes:

    Don't let it get past the time that you can file a CC or PP dispute.

    Well, as it turns out they're just as unresponsive via paypal as via any other way I've tried to communicate with them. Their only reply to the paypal dispute was a short message saying I've received my order and the tracking number that goes with it, after that no more messages.

    This was over a week ago so I just escalated the dispute on paypal. I don't think it will to be honest, but hopefully their customer-protection covers cases like this too. I'll keep you guys posted when there's any news.
