I have the eGo-C its the pass through charging type with just usb, I have a wall adapter using to charge it with.

So i have vap more today then any other ( have only had it 3 days total) well I just took a draw and went to take another got no vapor so looked and the button/light wouldn't do anything, So I plugged up to the wall outlet and the red light on the end where plugs in came on, the light/button flashed, I try to use it and the light blinked white color 3 times. then stopped. i couldn't get anything from it. is it just totally dead and need let charge for a while?
if so i am surprised, I hook it up every night before bed ( about 12 midnight or lil before) and let it charge all night, I understood this was okay to do cause there is something in it that won't let it overcharge,
I unplug it about 8am the next morning

I wish there was intructions that came with it, it told me how to put it in reg voltage mode and the varible voltage mode but that was it. i do not understand why the red light comes on the end then goes out, i thought it was suppose to stay on until fully charged.

I have the eG-C battery 1000mah Maybe it is dead dead, the red light still on its been on charge whole time I been typing this.

Takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge, and if your using a wall charger the red light well be red and every 5-6 seconds flash green for a half a second and so on.

When my ego-c batts get to low to use the light on the batt well flash about 12 times, I then charge it. I've got 3 and haven't had one die to the point I had to throw it away yet. They should last about 250 to 300 charges.

Well, I guess it was telling me something was wrong with my Clearomizer, I took it off and looked at it after it charged 30 minutes the red light had cut off on the battery itself. it still blinked 3 times, wouldn't let me vape. I seen juice on top the battery so i had take the clearomizer apart cleaned it, put back together now its working.

Sweet, was going to suggest next to clean battery top, and try another device on it. Wtg OP.

Thanks, I am pretty good about finding whats going on, I am a pretty good DIY er at many things, automobiles, household, electronics, Some people amaze me at what they can't/won't do, I am bad at math but will figure out the DIY mixing juice I hope. not to bad so far.

My watermelon seems to not work however. Maybe I have to get a tank to be able to vap it.

So, what does the 3 blinks mean. One of my Twists just started doing this today.

mine was letting me know the connection between cartomizer and battery wasn't good, I had E-juice on top the battery, i took off the clearomizer cleaned the juice off with a q-tip put back together and it worked fine.

I think mine is just dead. Everything I try on top gets three blinks. No blinks w/nothing on it. It did go a round inside my recliner though.

Yeah, I've dropped all my ecigs at least once on concrete. Most of them have been dumped multiple times. My Twists are almost a year old, so I think I got my money's worth out of them. My Provari just took a 4' drop onto the garage floor. Tank and mod don't even have a scratch.

Good to know most can take some abuse. mine not even a week old so, hope it last few months maybe a year be nice, these batterys are outrageous in price I can buy a 3 cell 2200mah battery cheaper then a 1100 mah 1 cell

Yeah, the eGo will take some abuse, but nothing like a mod will. My working Twist has a slight bend at the switch due to a drop. A couple of my standard 650 eGos have chipped buttons from drops. The Provari takes a mild beating and you'd never know it. Probably a Vamo or similar (excluding the Evic) would take most of the abuse my Provari has taken thus far.

I just want to let you all know that 3 blinks is the short circuit protection kicking in. It means the ohm rating of the clearomizer is to low or that there is a short somewhere. It can be a bad coil, or the center pin of the battery shorting out because of a bad grommet. its usually the carto or clearo issue, burnt out coil shorting or a misaligned pin shorting out.

Thanks for this. I just had this start happening with one of my clearo's yesterday. This is a clearo that I had bent last week and managed to fix it. I took it apart last night and still get the blinks. Nice feature!

Sometimes you can start an eGo back up after a short circuit by 5 clicks on/off or putting it on the charger for a minute or so. One or the other or both. I've had success with all. However, the next short will likely kill the battery.
