What do you find to be the best battery that you’ve used in this particular mod? Mind you, I’m a dock carpenter, so my mod absolutely HAS to be waterproof? Thanks.
I haven't used the mod you have, just noting that the keepower is a tiny bit taller.Since your mod has a screw in battery cap,it probably won't be an issue. The mod i tried it in is fixed size, and wouldn't let it go together all the way.

Perhaps a little late in posting, but... It's worth noting is that the highest accurate CDR on a 26650 is around 30 Amps. As such, these cells will be good up to about 90 watts. Beyond that, and you're stressing the battery and the mod. Perhaps consider a less power hungry coil/tank, or a dual battery mod...

Illium is fine but you will find a link to all the trusted battery vendors on Mooch's blog which was posted.

I am a fan of Holm Tech batteries in the larger sizes, but yes to the best of my understanding they are rewraps so specs can change.

I don't think one battery is going to make your mod more waterproof than another. More EXPLOSIVE perhaps,. but not more waterproof.

You do want a flat top battey, yes.

There is no "best" battery for any mod, if you are a low wattage vaper you might do better with a longer runtime, if you want high wattage vaping you will want a higher amp rating . All kind of confounded by the fact that these batteries are somewhat new, there aren't as many "best authentic" choices in comparison to say and 18650, so gosh, I'd probably go with the one that best suits your needs as far as wattage, as best as you can determine..

Good luck and welcome,

Anna

I think you meant to say a higher amp rating for high wattage vaping. Don't want to confuse the noobs with incorrect terminology. ;)

Capacity or mAh Rating - an approximation for how long a battery charge should last from 100% charge to when the battery will cut off.

Amp Rating - or "continuous discharge rate" (CDR). In layman's terminology, this is the maximum current available of the battery.

The "best battery" is not always the one with the largest mAh rating or the one with the highest amp rating. In most vaping applications a higher amp rating (CDR or continuous discharge rate) often (but not always) determines the better battery. But try to choose the battery for the application that you will use it. Which battery specification best fits your application? Amp rating or mAh rating?

Yes I did, I always get them backward. Fixed and thank you @Baditude .

Uh huh, I was the kid who had an L and R on her shoes for a significant period of time. Capable of higher order thinking from time to time but quite often easily lost in a paper bag. Srsly Tucson is a GRID CITY.

I still get lost occasionally and I've been here like 12 years.
