WOW Tornado Mega LR Atty Catches FIRE on Dry Burn!

I've NEVER seen a atty catch fire from a dry burn, but the TMLRA(Tornado Mega LR Atty)will catch fire inside! It's crazy the whole ring lights up in flame on a good dry burn. I had to blow out the flames lol!

Granted this atty has had it's wick/center removed for dripping, but I still have never seen one catch on FIRE!

Anyone else ever see this?

From what I know, none of the internal parts of those attys are flammable, at least not at the temps that are reached by the coil, even under a sustained burn.

What kind of juice you using? Could it be PGA residue, or something else?

I'm wondering if you don't have a good carbon layer built up. You can get a flame off carbon build-up when it gets hot enough.

It looked to be a green flame, and so I guess it means it was super hot. I just use VG juice for the most, but my last batch has been PG.....

A year and a 1/2 of vapping I have never seen this happen.

The heating elements inside can easily get red-hot. I've taken apart many cartos that had burned and melted because they hadn't been assembled correctly - the heat shield was placed too low, allowing the plastic reservior materials to contact the element. Maybe the atty you used had a flaw. Have you seen other TMLRA's do this too, or just the one so far?

Wow! Watched your video with the flames. So much for the theory that you can burn up an atty. Bet it vapes like a champ.
