WHOA, this really makes me angry! I raised my son on a schoolteacher's salary after his father died and had to pay for EVERYTHING myself out of my wages. I applied for SCHIP for him when the program started and they said I made $8 over the limit so we got no help with health insurance.

Lovely to know that my ciggy taxes were FUNDING the program and the dang illegal immigrant kids qualify but the child of a schoolteacher didn't!
