Will this battery work in a Lava Tube?

I'm shopping for a mod for my sister... I personally transitioned from a Riva to a Darwin, so I'm completely new to the replaceable battery mods. Found the mod I want and now looking for a couple good 18650 batts for the Lavatube and came across this:

AW 18650 Protected 3100 mAh Rechargeable Lithium Battery

It's AW branded, protected, and 3100mah. Most people from what I can tell seem to be going with red ones. This one is black. That worries me. I wanted to double check with you guys... am I missing something, or do you think this will work out ok?

Also, is there any difference between 10 dollar and 40 dollar battery chargers other than the charging time? Thanks!!

I think you might want a high drain battery in order to achieve higher voltages (gleaned from other threads). The red AW IMR at 1600 mah seems to be the weapon of choice for 18650 VV vapers.

This battery will not fit.... If you look at the battery dimensions it is 68mm long.... The Lavatube only Takes a 65mm 18650...

Why not try at madvapes.com or supertmanufacturing.com. That price is also way to high for one battery, btw.

I know that the lava tube suggests using flat top 18650s... i hate those batteries versus the button tops. Flat tops either die too quickly or begin to leak battery acid from the vent holes after a short period of time. I've had that happen to me on at least 3 different IMR batteries. Aside from that issue, the lava tube look amazing from what i've read and viewed about it

AW imr batts are the only batts i haven't had any issues with, and I only use them on my provaris, which pushes them to the max, as i expect the lava tube would if you put the flat top, off-brand imr batts in
