Why is the piece that covers where you put juice in so cheaply made?

I just got the vaporesso Luxe and it's a great device but the part that opens the tank to put juice in is a cheap plastic piece. Since I just got it, the plastic in still attached, but after filling it up day after day, it seems like the plastic will eventually tear off.
