Whining about my midterm

Ha, that's me, I'm a bit nutty and have a social worker to keep an eye on me. She's a really nice woman actually and has looked after me well for about six years.

Do you have an idea of which area you will specialise in yet?

I don't envy anyone struggling to do exams, I like learning and education but exams are just too much pressure.

I do not know which field yet, but in the fall quarter I will start practicum and am sure I will know something by then. I have been volunteering for a couple of different organizations and it is all a bit overwhelming still. I am 46 and I am thinking i would like to work with what is called the throw away teens or even the GBLT teens and families.

I used to work with young people, teenagers can be very difficult but a lot of fun. Everything is so intense at that age and problems seem to be magnified. Nice, rewarding work though, I'm sure you'll enjoy it if that's what you choose to do.
